There are some bad reviews on here, and I really don't know why. I lived in a Jackson Properties unit last year and have renewed for another year while I get my Graduate Degree at FSU. They are great! I have never had to wait more than a day or so for repairs, they really take care of you and are always polite. The units are nice and I was able to get a 2 bedroom next to campus on my own for a good price. I recommend them to everyone who asks me about living in Tally. Seriously the best leasing office I have ever rented from.

The management staff is friendly courteous and very helpful. In the 2+ years that we have used Jackson properties, we have never had anything that was not dealt with in a helpful, timely, professional manner. The office manager, Ely, has helped in a kind and understanding way that you do not always see with this kind of business. A little kindness goes a long way, and is greatly appreciated!

They charge excessively for a small place that is farther from campus than better places (cheaper, closer). They will charge you 300$ for a cleaning fee when you move out, regardless of how impeccable it is (had 4 people come clean and left the place like new), and judging by other reviews it seems like it is common to not get your deposit back. All in all, the employees are nice, they send you chocolates but this does not compensate for them over charging (500+ a month). Good reviews come from people who just moved in or can afford to burn some money every month. Unreliable, go to another place, closer to campus, that charges less.
