It's my 5th day living here and I'm already regretting this place. I should have listened to all these reviews, Sydni the leasing agent had initially told me the apartment she showed me (renovated one) was 690$ per month + 350$ deposit which we thought was a good deal so we applied for the apartment. Once we got approved she called us and said deposit was a whole month of rent and that rent was going to be 747$ I got upset and told her to cancel everything since we didn't sign any contract she said she would contact her manager to see what she can do since she had told me a different price at first, she called me later that day saying her manager was only able to change the deposit to the 350$ I was initially told but that rent would still be 747$ but I was tired of looking for apartments so I said that was fine. A few days later when we went to sign the contract she told us we have to pay 9$ for home insurance because their has been some "fiers" in the past and she said we had to pay for water gas and sewer + Mud and Oppd (She told me all this information after everything was signed) if I would have know all this information I wouldn't of moved in, but it's my fault for not asking questions. Leasing office is closed on weekends and my move in date was on a Sunday she texted me from her personal number Saturday morning asking me if I can meet up with her at midnight so she can give me the keys, I said no because we were going to be asleep by then so she asked me if I could go pick up the keys at HER house the next day because she was babysitting and she assumed I would do it because she right away gave me her address, but I told her I to just meet me at the leasing office Sunday morning because it's not professional for me to be picking up The apartment keys at midnight or to be going to her house to pick them up. Also once I singed the contract she told me that if I saw any type of bugs to report it to her of course she said that because she obviously knew that's a known issue ( I do see a lot of bugs in the apartment) (no bed bugs) but a lot of insects . it's Sad that it's only my 5th day and I'm already wanting to move out! Their nice apartments but their is a lot of issues and parking sucks and does not feel safe! Also application fee is 35 for the first adult and 15$ for any additional adults and they do charge a none refundable 100$ administration fee.

If possible, I probably wouldn't put ANY star on this review. My daughter lived there for a year-a year too long. Perhaps the new management will do better, but I certainly wasn't impressed with the transfer of management either. Lund took over for Maxx Properties. I do think the ownership should also take much of responsibility for poor management that went on for months and poor living conditions at Mapleview. We couldn't get any answers to any questions during the lease term or during the transition. My daughter moved out just before the transition. She moved because they jacked up her monthly rent in insane amount of money. There were no tenant or building improvements to justify this bump in rent. Actually things went downhill as each month passed by. She could never reach someone at the office, there was always a sign "We'll be back", but you would rarely catch them, they rarely returned calls, they rarely fixed things that weren't working properly. Her frig leaked water constantly from day one and they never fixed it-even after a year, she had to use a handle of a utensil to open and close the lock on her patio door as it went months without being repaired-the latch had been jimmied at one time and bent they never replaced it even after bringing it to their attention at move in. After about 9 months, they finally replaced it. There were no disposal baskets to deposit dog waste into. I asked if they'd place dog waste baskets at the poles where the waste bags were. I said "I'm certain you care about the property and how tenants take care and clean up after themselves-having waste basket will help with that"-they never did. Actually the gal at the management office said "I didn't know they didn't have them, we'll have to look into that"- again they never did. Many tenants didn't even clean up after their animals, and the management didn't either. Trash was in the parking lots often, the halls were stained and never cleaned, doors to each building weren't secure. People often littered in the parking lot and it was rarely cleaned up. The buildings and apartments smelled of smoke some of it "funny" (my daughter doesn't smoke) and pet smells, the laundry rooms weren't secure half the time and other tenants would just dump stuff they didn't want in the laundry room. Management never cleaned the halls, the laundry rooms, the mailbox areas or green spaces. She left the apartment much cleaner than when she moved in and she still lost her deposit....we weren't impressed. Again perhaps things will change with Lund but I'd think twice. PS when she was moving in over a year ago, they told her she would live in a particular building, couldn't show her the apartment tho, only a nicer remodeled one. Once it was move in day, the apartment she was assigned was in a neglected building....not what we were told. ALSO-if you have a pet be careful. Maxx Properties SAID that there is a security deposit AND a pet deposit ($250 each). The lease actually shows it as a $250 pet fee which is non refundable and not used toward any cleaning. You'll lose your pet fee and security deposit as they will take BOTH to clean up after you having a pet. Seems unfair to ding people 2x for having a pet.

AWFUL place to live for the amount you pay. I've lived there for a year, and have had problem after problem. I've had my sink over flow time after time, even after they came to fix it. And DO NOT live on the first floor. The doors, and windows are not sealed properly at all, and you will have bugs in the summer inside your apartment. We've had ant, Beatle, and roach problems, and the roaches are not coming from us.... And although the office is suposed to be open majority of the week, plan on no one being there to help you. I would not choose this place again if I had the choice.

Horrible, horrible parking. The parking lot is small & spaces are a tight fit. Watch your step, you might step in something.. because noone picks up after their pets. "Laundry room" is the size of a closet & full of dead bugs. You will need a laundry card to use their machines but you need to go to the office to refill your card & usualy no one is in the office, so it looks like you have to go to a laundry mat. The hallways are always dirty & very unwelcoming. This is a bad, over priced place to live. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND LIVING HERE.

Only rent here if you want to be ripped off 2 years later due to them hiring cracked out people who can't do their job, so they charge trumped up charges against you...and then when you try to take care of it, they route you to their Denver office for over 6 years...it's crazy how there is no one to take care of this issue for over 6 years! DON"T RENT HERE!

The units are nice-- ONLY the renovated ones. Every month there are new leasing agents and the lead leasing agent is rude and will not own up to mistakes. I have contacted Corporate and it is absolutely no wonder their properties are so unorganized- they fail to keep their word as well. I was charged late fees on OPPD and MUD on dates I was not even living there-- prior to ever seeing this place LOL. My final rent was taken out of my account and they took out almost $500 more! DO NOT LEASE HERE! They will try to raise rent to compete with town-homes but they are apartments. And talk to everyone- we all paid something different for the same amenities. The park they say is there is for toddlers and under-- take a look at how much profanity is written for kids to see! A pregnant (7 months) lady fell trying to get to her car on ICE and SNOW as they take forever to clear winter snow and ice. Did the care that her baby could have been in danger...? NOPE. Oh and if you need to get information to move in to a new place, they will purposely ignore until you call CORPORATE. Really, why even offer services if you cannot treat people right? I doubt more is needed to be said about Maple View or their sister properties. This management will be getting mentioned to the BBB as I still have not received a call regarding fees being returned.

Great apartment complex and its quite, but they are terrible on trying to keep the place up and running. Had a Plumbing problem where our sink over flowed from when the people up stairs use their sink. The parking is absolutely terrible. Had to Park at the hotel 90% of the time. I would not recommend living here.
