I have been living at the Maple Ridge apartments for a year now. I have been renting my entire adult life, and I have never seen a lack of customer service like what I have experienced here. Every time I approached staff with a problem they always had an excuse, it was never there fault, and I was even told once it wasn't there problem. When I moved in July 2013, I immediately saw problems in the apartment, cabinet doors missing hinges, the front door had been kicked in and not fixed properly, there was a rancid smell coming from under the kitchen sink, and the apartment had allegedly just been redone. I saw ants, and cockroaches the first night I was here, and when I approached the staff about it, I was told I brought them with me. I know at this point I should have gotten out of the lease, but I had moved in from out of state, and I was stuck, the apartments are huge, and don't look to bad so I sucked it up, and moved on. Note: the front door hasn't been fixed after telling them more than once. Fast forward to Feb 2014, I had a small leak in my spare bedroom, and let emergency maintenance know about it. Someone came out immediately and looked at it, but decided that there was to much snow on the roof to do anything, and left saying they would take care of it. "Important" I live in 3136 N111th Plz #F5. After approximately 2 weeks, the snow melted and more than 40 gallons of water entered my apartment, flooding it and the apartment below mine. May 20th 2014 9:15pm, I am currently hearing the roofers fixing my roof, and I have not had use of my spare bedroom for over three months. "Important" when the maintenance crew came to rip down the wet rotted drywall from the ceiling, we discovered mold, and that the apartment does not contain any insulation in the ceiling, not sure about the walls. I would assume its the same since cold air screamed in through the light sockets all winter forcing me to tape them up. In conclusion, rent here at your own risk, and I pray you have better luck with your rental.

And the lady in the office was EXTREMELY rude. The door says they are open until 4pm on Saturdays, but when I arrived shortly after 3pm, she "was closing up now" and couldn't show me an apartment. I explained that I had driven quite a ways to get there and asked her to please take 10 minutes to show me a 1 bedroom and she said she couldn't because she "had to get to her other job". Really? She just leaves her job before they close to get to her other job? Great customer service. Now I can imagine what LIVING in that facility would be like, and don't need to see an apartment. I was upset when I left and she even yelled something at me on my way out the door. I'm guessing she won't have this job much longer, which will make plenty of time for her "other job".
