This is absolutely the worst place I've ever stayed in. I would have given this place zero stars if I can. 1. If you get an apartment that faces the Beltline Hwy, you would hear incessant loud noises coming from the highway night and day, even if you pull down all the windows and blinders. The property managers lied to us when we asked them about the noise problem before we moved in - they promised us we would hear nothing if we just close the windows. Even when we toured the apartment, they deliberately showed us apartments facing the other sides to cover up this problem. 2. Floorboards between upper and lower levels are unbelievably thin. We can hear exactly where our higher level neighbors are and what they are doing. If you are lucky like us and have little kids who live upstairs, the stompings and poundings can drive you mad. And from what we heard from other people in the building, we are not the only ones having noise problems from neighbors on upstairs floors. To be clear, it's not the little kids that we hate, it's the Timberlake Apartment management - why on earth would you always put families with kids on high floors without doing some kind of noise control to your floorboards? The property managers are aloof and unresponsive to our problems. They were rude and scornful when we asked them for help. 3. We often had occasions when our packages went missing after they were delivered to our building. Although you'd need a key to go into the building, it seems the neighborhood is just not safe enough to have your package sit there for more than a few hours. To provide some context, Timberlake is not the first apartment I've lived in in Madison but I have never had problems like this with other apartments. DO NOT RENT HERE!!! Go somewhere else while you still can!

I've been living at Timberlake Village for three years now, and I love living here! John and Katie (management) are awesome - they are very friendly, they get to know the tenants, and they take concerns very seriously. I also love that they ALWAYS communicate any changes/issues/etc with their tenants to keep us all in the loop. The staff keeps the grounds clean (if it's dirty, it's because some tenants don't know how to clean up after themselves). There's laundry room in each floor of the building, which makes it SO convenient, and it only costs 75c per load! One thing I do not like is not having a maintenance staff who's able to come if there is an urgent issue after-hours. There is a 24-hour maintenance line, but they can only take notes of the concerns. However, maintenance is always prompt to fix any issues during normal business hours. Unfortunately, we are leaving at the end of the month to relocate to another city. Otherwise, we would continue to stay here at Timberlake Village.

This complex is seriously one of the best on the west side of Madison. I am going on my third year living in the complex and all I have are good things to say. Rent is reasonable, on par with the market value of other properties near by. What you pay for in rent, you get back in amenities tenfold. Clean, beautiful landscaping, awesome swimming and exercise facilities, reliable and QUICK maintenance, and very friendly staff. Whether a student, a single individual or a family, Timberlake Village is the home for you!

Timberlakevillage Apartment living is like living on a permanent VACATION!!!! A year round indoor hot tub and fitness room, an outdoor pool and clubhouse, and the location in Madison is full of action. It is a few minutes from shopping, spas, movies, live music, water sports, yoga and the Capital square activities . There is time to do all of these fun activities because the maintenance and office staff take great care of all the upkeep. I have a home 40 minutes from here, but I have had a studio apartment for 12 years at Timberlakevillage so I can stay and play whenever I want to.

Ive been very happy living here for the last five years. The buildings and grounds are well-maintained, and management is present and easy to reach. They are very responsive if ever an issue or question arises, and any problems (which have been few and/or minor over the years that Ive lived here) are resolved quickly. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the apartments themselves are open and comfortable. The amenities are goodavailable garage parking, dishwasher, some units with washer/dryer (but all with laundry just steps away down the hall), and some buildings are pet-friendly. There is a workout room, hot tub and pool on the property, plus a nicely-furnished clubhouse space that can be rented out for events or get-togethers. The Timberlake Village Apartments have been my home longer than anywhere else in my adult life, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a place to live on Madisons west side!
