I would have to agree with Matts review. The place was infested with roaches, my roommate and I had a lawyer on board to get involved because nothing was being done about yhe problem until we had threatened a lawsuit. If we had not said anything, Im sure the problem would have escalated and been out of control. After that, the problem got a little better, but until the day we moved it, we were still finding roaches on the walls of our bedrooms, kitchen, etc. Communication with management is not the best. Never got a notice of our lease being up in 30 days and a tour was scheduled for our apartment without our knowing until the day of. My roommate and I are both night shift nurses and we had to leave in the middle of our sleep so they could tour our unit. Only giving 2 stars because we had a good view of Hyde Park. I wouldnt recommend this place to a friend or loved one.
Stay far away from this building and UCB! When I moved into a unit on the third floor, it was completely infested with roaches....
Stay far away from this building and UCB! When I moved into a unit on the third floor, it was completely infested with roaches. The property manager did not disclose to me that the previous tenants had been kicked out for being dirty and that they had unsuccessfully tried to remove the roach infestation. After she was confronted with pictures of the roach problem, she admitted the truth. The building is not what it seems and the property managers are completely shady.
