Looking for a responsible, respectful housemate to share my home in NE Portland. The basement unit has an easy entrance from the carport and includes the following:
Furnishings: Queen-sized bed with a new foam mattress, pillows, and linens, two nightstands, dresser, large sofa, and a coffee table.
Entertainment: 60-inch TV loaded with streaming apps.
Appliances: Full-sized stainless steel refrigerator, shared washer/dryer, robot vacuum.
Bonus: Access to a shared home gym/weight room downstairs
The upstairs is shared with myself and my two young kids. We have a full kitchen, additional living space, and a large fenced backyard.
Important Notes:
This is a shared living situation where I am both the landlord and your roommate. As a single mom, I’m looking to supplement my income by renting out the basement. Looking for a single roommate, no couples.
Please be aware that this is a home with kids and pets, including a dog and two cats. If you value total privacy or quietness, this may not be the best fit for you.
Rent includes all utilities: electricity, gas, water, heat, A/C, and internet.
House Rules & Expectations:
- Must love kids, dogs, and cats
- No smoking, drugs, or excessive drinking on the premises
- Quiet hours: 10 PM – 7 AM
- Shared cleaning responsibilities (i.e., wash your own dishes, keep shared spaces clean)
- No overnight guests without prior approval from the landlord/roommate
- Must be employed
- Background, criminal, and credit checks required
- Preference for female or nonbinary applicants- - single moms are encouraged to apply
