Listen to these reviews, read all of them, believe them!!! I have lived in two cities and 6 apartments before this - these are the worst I've ever experienced. The inside of the apartments are really nice - but everything else is horrid. I have lived here for 3 months and have had about 4 things break. The office staff are disrespectful, passive, and unaware of their responsibilities. They feign knowledge of incidents when I can speak to the same office member about a problem 3 days in a row and they will pretend (yes all of them) that they don't know what we're talking about, who I am, or what is wrong with my apartment. When we moved in, the window was broken and they told us it would be replaced within a week of move in (we reserved the apartment 1-2 weeks before we moved in so they had additional time as well) - it took 6 weeks. Our bathroom vent fan was broken - this took 1 day to replace; NICE! Our AC unit broke after a week - we're not too picky, it's whatever, we put a maint. ticket in. They checked it out same day as call. However it was still broken the next day. After around 5 calls to the office (we aren't' sure anyone actually came in after the first 2 visits, they stopped fulfilling maintenance reports) they told us the AC worked just fine and there was nothing for them to fix. Our apartment is regularly 80 degrees if it is hotter than ... 85 degrees outside. It does shoot out cool air and only cools the apartment when it is colder outside. But our electric bill just arrived at $280. But wait, there's more! Coming home a month ago my new neighbor downstairs introduces himself and asks if we have any water leaks? I reply no. The following day he tells me maintenance checked his apartment out and my shower is leaking into his apartment. Ok. Sorry!!! **My neighbor** then tells me not to use my shower until they fix it. I received no call from the office and no notes or information of this. We weren't sure and used the shower for 2 more days until we called the office. They had no idea what we were talking about - but informed us to stop showering. 2 weeks (a week ago) into everyone being aware of the problem (and us sharing the 2nd bathroom shower), there was a note on the building door, "water shutoff tomorrow" blah blah blah. We assumed they fixed the issue and someone would be calling us shortly after to say we could shower again. Nope!! We have called 4 times to the office and had the same person (Samantha) 2 times (we have also gotten Sharon and 1 other). I have talked in person once to Samantha about this. They have no idea what we are talking about when we ask every single time. They ask us to submit a maintenance ticket every time and blow us off, in the politically correct way, after all. So thanks, but no thanks. The lease contract is extremely hard to break. For us, it would be around $4,500 to break the lease. There is mouse poop all over our deck constantly. The geese are kinda aggressive and the mile trail is poorly designed (it just stops and you have to deal with pissed off geese a lot). Our fridge is leaking tiny amounts of water and our food in the freezer always has a thin layer of water on it. The best appliance we have is a new(?) microwave. Just don't live here. You don't want these problems. You don't want these people. Spend the effort and keep looking elsewhere before you're committed to 12 months of this. I have 8 months to go. :(
