A Local Perspective

Ogden is one of the many cities in America that grew to prominence due to the presence of the railway. However, unlike many American cities that declined when the railway had a decreased role to play, Ogden is still a significant rail hub. The population of 82,825 is still dependent on the rail, and the numerous industries that it supports within Ogden.

Ogden is a scenic town, set against the backdrop of the Wasatch Mountains. It has a four-season climate with hot summers and cool winters. Education is also important in Ogden. Weber State University enrolls 26,000 students every year, and offers a wide range of programs, ranging from professional designations to technical certificates.

How to Search

Finding an apartment can be hard, especially when there are so many choices. With our filters, you can narrow your search by price, floorplan, and amenities. Looking for an apartment building with a fitness center, swimming pool, and easy access to a dog park? We've got you covered.

Staying in the know

Ogden landlords want to make sure that you're going to look after the property that you're entrusted with. Having a strong, continuous and stable rental history helps prove that you're responsible. If you can't provide this, try to at least have a former landlord as one of your references, so they can vouch for how well you will look after an apartment.

Life in Ogden

Once you're in the busier parts of town, you can easily walk almost everywhere in Ogden. The most interesting points in town are located very near to each other, meaning that longer commutes are only required to outlying residential areas. Even these however, are served by the Utah Transit Authority busses that run through town.

Where to play

Take a walk down 25th street for good shopping and dining, and take in the largest collection of historic buildings in town. If you have the means to get just outside of town, you can find hiking and biking trails that wind through the nearby mountains.
