Don’t live here Residents were left in the dark for over a month in one part of the complex (without parking lights) making the situation so dangerous and unsafe Management was repeatedly informed by many residents about the issue and they don’t want to spend the money to fix it This is not the first time this has happened. All the complex was running on 60% parking lights for over a year (since this new management company took over) and they are not willing to spend the money to fix the problem, all they want is to collect rent, set penalties and charge bogus charges like charging tenants for “Shared Utilities” which they claim is for lighting the complex, building and common areas Where have you heard of a residential company charging its residents of sharing to light up the complex!!, this is absurd and unheard of, only at “Ellipse at Fairfax Corner” Grounds upkeep is terrible, They can’t fill up the complex, so they are giving one month free rent for new residents just to lure them in, because the word has gotten out on how rotten this place is Don’t fall for this trap, because you will end up paying for that free month and then some, through all the penalties, admin fees (non-refundable) bogus fees, no one has gotten their deposits back after vacating (read reviews) Read other residents reviews and judge for yourself

When you hear the name Ellipse apartments of Fairfax, run away in the opposite direction as fast as you can Don’t even look back, worst management company ever, complex is over 30 years old and has many problems and none of them are addressed by this management company that just had a one year anniversary in mid-December 2019 They have a skeleton staff in the office and maintenance is consistent of one guy and a supervisor…for 404 units, that’s it!! Insufficient parking spaces, bug and cockroach problems, terrible landscaping (except for the rental office area used as a trap for new customers) all what they advertise is false, “Car Wash” area is a hose on the ground in front of the garbage dumpsters, parking lights that are always not working, tenants kept in the dark in unsafe conditions, parking space lines that are almost non visible When they show you a model don’t ever expect to have the same (Don’t fall for the photos of their model apartment on their website or other apartment locator websites, they are taken by professional photographers to make it look great but reality is another thing), all units have problems from air/water leaks, holes in walls that will never be fixed, thin insulation, you always hear the conversations of your neighbors, plumbing problems, appliances that have constant problems, swimming pool area had a Jacuzzi area that was cemented and terminated because they didn’t want to pay for its heating and sanitation cost Dirty parking lots always full of leaves and garbage that is not cleaned (again, except in the rental office area) All what they care about is collecting the rent and setting penalties and over charging Before you rent visit the complex, and walk around what is called “Dog park” and see for yourself, go into any building you wish and see the rusted stairways and mail box areas, and if they tell you it will be fixed, rest assured it won’t, also don’t ever think you will get your deposit back when you vacate, “kiss it goodbye” Read the new reviews of other tenants from January 2019 fwd. (all older reviews might be good or fair because previous management companies were heaven compared to this one. Don’t read reviews on their own website that is rigged, I wrote a review on their website and was never published) read reviews on Apartment Ratings, yelp.com, apartments.com, rent.com, birdeye.com, and decide for yourself, I would never recommend living here to anyone. If I could give less than one star, I would. Do yourself a huge favor.....DO NOT MOVE HERE
