Crown Encino is an absolutely wonderful place to live! This quiet little sanctuary in the heart of Encino is the epitome of welcoming. The neighbors are kind, families play with their children in the courtyard, and the landscaping is like that of a lush paradise. And when it gets dark everything/everyone at the building settles down so if you live a loud lifestyle then this may not be the place for you.
Regarding the staff, the manager, Maria, is fantastic and goes above and beyond. She is always available and just exudes love and care for this building and those who live here. And the maintenance man, John, is fantastic! He knows how to fix anything and everything and his quick wit and sense of humor will have you in stitches.
In terms of location, Crown Encino is 10/10. It is perfectly set between the 101 Freeway and Ventura Blvd. This means you don't hear the freeway or the main street, but you still are in extremely close proximity to it. You also can walk to Ralphs, Dollar Tree, BevMo, and so much more. Just make sure to invest in a rolling cart to haul your purchases back as that will save you so much stress in the long run.
The largest negative of living here is the lack of parking. If you are a one-car household then you will be fine as you are given one parking space. But if you are like me and have two or more cars for your household, you will have to deal with street parking which can be a nightmare at times.
Another negative I have found is that your packages are occasionally stolen from the front lobby as delivery drivers will just leave them out and not put them into your mailbox. However, packages dropped off at my door have never been stolen so I now specify on every order that my packages need to be dropped at my door and nowhere else. While not necessarily a negative, there is also no gym here.
Overall, Crown Encino is a great place to live and I cannot recommend it enough, especially if you are looking for a safe, quiet enclave in a bustling city!
