Apartment #13D is a newly restored one bedroom, one bath apartment located on the first floor of this circa 1845 Charleston mansion. Living here, you will get the authentic Charleston experience, including original ornamental detail and ambience with upscale modern amenities. Here, you will find twelve foot ceilings with center medallions custom-designed by David Hueske, original heart pine flooring, beautiful mantels, and a mixture of antique and modern decor throughout. Overlooking Fort Sumter in Charleston Harbor, the high Battery walk, and just a few steps from White Point Gardens, you will be within walking distance from many of Charleston’s restaurants, bars, art galleries, and museums.
The side entrance, just steps away from the private parking, leads you into the apartment’s spacious living and dining room. Here you will find plenty of luxurious seating, large TV, and wonderful 9’ antique oak table with dining for four and plenty of work-from-home space.
The adjacent sunroom-style kitchen was artfully designed with plenty of cabinet space, both butcher block and marble counter tops, high-end appliances, bar seating for two, and windows everywhere. The views overlooking the patio and grounds are stunning!
The bedroom is spacious and comfortable, with a king sized bed, corner lounge chair, two large closets, and a decorative fireplace. Just off the private foyer adjoining both the bedroom and kitchen, the full-size marble bathroom features a large vanity, shower and separate commode room with a sink.
As the guest in Apartment D, you will not only have access to the owners beautiful side patio which can be accessed through the kitchen back door.
Also located on the grounds is a separate golf cart parking lot with charging station. One off street parking space is provided with this apartment. There is also free street parking on the waterfront side of E. Battery Street to accommodate additional cars or guests!
Please note: This apartment is entirely private and located on the first floor of a larger home which is occupied by the homeowner.

Once you confirm your reservation at The Wonderer, you will receive a link to book your time to visit the Campus. Please note, all fitness classes and ticketed events are offered based on availability and may come at an additional cost.
Day Passes are available at the following rates (pre-purchase only):
- Complimentary: Oct 15th - Apr 14th
- Additional Cost: Apr 15th - Oct 14th
- $30 per person: Sunday through Friday
- $50 per person: Saturdays

Any group exceeding 6 or more guests must be approved separately by contacting the Wonderer directly. If using the Pool area, it is required that parties of 6+ rent a Cabana.
All guests must be at least 25 years or older to access the Club and must consent (in writing) to the Club Rules and Regulations.

If access is not granted to the Wonderer during your stay due to availability, no inconvenience credits will be awarded, and any issues related to your visit at The Wonderer must be directed exclusively to The Wonderer staff.*

Other Things To Note:
Our Housekeeping Team members clean and sanitize all hard surfaces of our vacation homes, including but not limited to floors, countertops, railings, sink faucets, appliances, doorknobs, and light switches. The quality of disinfectants we use should remove 100 percent of the microscopic organisms on surfaces, and effectively stop the spread of disease and viruses. Linens and towels are laundered offsite at our linen facility. There is no evidence to suggest that this particular coronavirus will survive the wash chemistry and temperatures in the wash and dry process. All soiled linens are treated as if they are contaminated. Our housekeeping staff is trained to use the best hygiene practices at all times. With the combination of these best practices, our employees, clients, and guests should be safe from the spread of coronavirus.
