The Air Conditioning unit constantly breaking, the Fire Alarms going Off at 2 and 3 in the morning for no reason, the Washer had to be replaced and now my Dryer is out, with wet clothes inside and the Washer full of clothes but because it is Saturday is not an Emergency work order and we have to wait until Monday. Same thing happened with the AC unit last month. The AC goes out Friday and we have to wait until Monday because they don't have what is needed to fix it. They don't any experts to deal with the issues, they have handymen that do what they can with what they have. If it wasn't for the location I won't renew my contract here. By the way my 16 year old daughter got bitten by a dog in her upper arm and on her hand. This woman was walking her dog on a leash and didn't had the decency to move her dog away from my daughter even do the dog was growling and aggressive. I'm so disappointed about this place, if I could have the means to move I would done it already! I'm paying Rent to avoid headaches but instead I feel I am suffering more headaches than if I was in my own place, not renting ?? sad to say. More issues, been without a dryer for 6 days now and there is no sense of urgency, they can replace the dryer and are looking around for parts. Very dissatisfied with the customer service of this place!

Do not live at Midtown 501. I am sure there are people at Midtown whose experiences were better than mine, but this was the worst housing experience of my life. The unit was infested with American Cockroahes due to an ongoing leak in the bathroom ceiling. The management company was informed of this issue at least 4 times. One day I went to the office because it was raining out of my bathroom ceiling and they told me someone had come by that morning to fix it. Obviously it was never dealt with. Roaches literally crawled out of the bathroom ceiling from holes left due to the leak. The gutter outside my window fell during an ice storm. It took multiple calls and work orders before they eventually removed it. Instead of replacing it, we dealt with a small stream outside our unit each time it rained. This led to water stains on bedroom walls. Mold grew on top of the carpet in our rooms (actual green furry mold from the moisture and who knows what else). Walking into the unit, you could smell the mold growing in the walls (not to mention see the water stains in the bedrooms and bathroom). The heat only worked in the common area. My boyfriend put his hand up to the heat vent once and felt cold air blowing into the room. At night during the winter our rooms were so cold we slept with 2 comforters. In the summer, the AC did not work. It kicked on for hours each day and the thermostat never changed... it always read 78degrees no matter how long the AC was on. Again, multiple work orders were put in to resolve this issue. We often times received a notification that the issue was resolved when in fact no one had been by. While I wasn't there during the day, this happened at least 3 times with the gutter outside my window. The issue was marked as resolved and I would get home to see it still dangling dangerously close to my window (thank God we didn't get any major storms before they finally took it down). At one point Midtown lost $50 of mine for rent and then charged me for an NSF... I had to file a claim with my bank to eventually get this resolved. I had to make a number of calls until the manager eventually apologized for realizing the mistake. I could go on about the other issues, but I think you get the point. I sincerely hope that the management company reads this review and addresses these issues for future tenants. As a former property manager, I know how this type of business should be conducted. We were responsible tenants who paid rent on time and kept our unit extremely clean. We definitely deserved to have been treated better and taken seriously.

I have enjoyed my experience here so far. The staff is very friendly. Hallie is wonderful, from the very first time we spoke with her, we felt welcome. Fast response from all staff when sending an email. The apartments are super nice inside, and the amenities are great. Valet trash is the best!
