I moved into this apartment complex while it was under different management. Everything was fine then, but now, trying to get the new management team to do anything is a headache. Our air conditioner stopped working properly last summer. It leaked for 2 months from the cieling before we were able to get them to fix it. They fixed the leak, but never fixed the issue of it not cooling properly. There was also excessive water damage to the cieling caused by the leak, and despite them saying they would fix it once it dried, they never did. Fast forward to today. Ceilings starting to mold and rot. Put in a request to look at AC unit again because it still isn't cooling properly. Maintenance guy shows up, sticks his hand under the vent, replaces the filter and leaves. Put in another request about the cieling. Maintenance guy shows up. Pokes mold with his finger and says he needs to go get his tools and leaves for over an hour. I go to the office to ask if he plans on coming back, and they tell me that there might have been an emergency he had to tend to. I say that I'm pretty sure black mold is an emergency situation so I need you to find out what is going on. Jessica, the lady in the office, sends a text, probably not even to the maintenance guy, and immediately after sending the message, looks up at me and says that he isn't responding, so he must be busy working on something else.
