The place is infested with bedbugs and spiders. My infant was hospitalized for 4 days and had to be sedated due to spider bites....
The place is infested with bedbugs and spiders. My infant was hospitalized for 4 days and had to be sedated due to spider bites. I was bitten by a brown recluse and and it put me out of work for more than a month causing me to get behind in rent. They are quick to evict but slow to fix. The kitchen sink sink has collapsed for the second time and they still have NOT fixed it after being informed. I rent a 1 bedroom and a/c unit has continually given me problems going out since I got here. My light bill has sky rocketed for months to more than $360 and they refuse to fix it. I have currently been without air since last night and the maintenance guy came over, claimed he fixed it even though it made loud noises. He told me it was the compressor and left. It is 93 degrees in here and I've called 3 times since. Going on a second night in the heat with my baby in this unit. Also, don't trust their towing process, this place is simply a money bag for big corp!

Ive been living here since April 2017. Management is terrible and can sometimes be rude. My car has gotten broken into twice since Ive been here and we still dont know who it was. Maintenance will continually say theyre on their way to fix an issue but never show up or when they do show up, its days later. Very overpriced for what you get. Ive dealt with an ant problem that maintenance never took care of (of course) but Ive never had an issue with any other pests. The pool is nice and the leasing office is very clean and comfortable as well. My kitchen and bathrooms are very new and look great but I also had trouble with the water pressure in one of my bathrooms and the kitchen. Took maintenance days to finally come and fix it. For the most part, I havent completely hated my stay here but my biggest issue is the price for what you get. Three of my neighbors left this week because of the same reason. Wont be renewing my lease and wouldnt recommend Dryden as well.

The new maintenance man as of June 2018 older gentleman is the worst and extremely rude!!!! Ive lived here for 3 years and every year I have to call for them to fix my a/c. Usually I dont mind it because after that one call its fixed. This year however the maintenance man is useless, he doesnt know what hes doing. Ive worked in apartments before and guys like that ruin occupancy and the value of the complex. Bad for business. I reported my a/c not working like like I do every year and he came by put Freon in the unit and submitted it as completed. He never came back to check if the air was cooling or say he had fixed it even though I was in the apartment the whole time and he never realized the thermostat isnt working and the air doesnt drop below 78-74 degrees ( if Im cooking dinner or just moving at all the temp goes up to 82). I left it on for a while week at 50 degrees to give him the benefit of the doubt ( which of course it never dropped below 74) and with this heat I just couldnt take it anymore and I reopened the request just to find out he did the same thing again and reported the a/c fixed at 1pm, ( this is electricity Im paying here, which he doesnt care about of course). I reopened it for a third time when I arrived home and he came by 30 minutes later all mad as soon as I opened the door the first thing he says is I already fixed it . I told him I know you marked it as fixed at 1 pm but its still not working properly. He said no theres nothing more I can do thats the way it is. I said please come and look at the thermostat its not working and he had the audacity to tell me well sometimes those things dont move !!!!! Im like really!!! At this point Ive lost my patience and I tell him why do you think thermostats where made for? To regulate and measure the temperature in the apartment so they DO have to move!!!!! he said well I told the manager that I fixed it and shes going to believe me and theres nothing else I can do. Again, I was baffled by this man and his unprofessionalism so I told him . sir Im not a new tenant Ive lived here for 3 years and for the past two years the maintenance men have been able to fix it and have actually been communicative , your not gonna convince me a thermostat is mean to stay still that ridiculous so he said all sarcastically then Ill give you. New thermostat a digital one so you can see the change in temperature I told him sure Ill record it and show you the temp isnt cooling!!! Im going to talk to the manager tomorrow id she backs him up and cant fix the problem for me I will be calling corporate and defiantly calling the city and making sure they release me from my lease. So much for being a good tenant and paying on time every time .

Original they took us to a really nice model that was perfect in every way shape or form. Then we moved in to a stained tub with a corroded drain, dirt and hair everywhere, a leaking hot water heater, rotting cabinets, a broken and clogged garbage disposal, leaking sink drains, and different toned paint on the walls where they made touch ups. Out of that list, they have fully fixed nothing. Maintenance will come in while you are gone and hang out for a few minutes in your place and then leave without doing anything. Then management will ask when you are home so you can make them do their job. Absolutely the worst staff I have ever dealt with

I live on the first floor and when it rains i have flooding outside my front door. And the sprinkler system creates flooding as well. (What are they trying to water? The dirt, sand, and weeds? Theres no grass!) The landscape around the complex is not appealing to the eye, very ugly. Id like grass outside of my apartment. When it rains, its just muddy! I dont like the environment. There have been many reports of cars getting broken into in the middle of the night. Also, the Pet Waste Stations are always OUT of baggies and full of poop. The blue baggies I was using to pick up my dogs poop from when I first moved in are still at the bottom of the trash thingy. Thats gross.

Id like grass outside of my apartment instead of sand. Again, when it rains, its just muddy! I dont like the environment. You will have problems from the moment you move in, I just hope the management learns to communicate & take care of residents better. The way they handle things just shows how they really dont care about their residents. After a year of living there and putting up with water damage & issues all around we finally were able to get out of there. But there are other residents that are not that lucky & are still putting up with this complex just because they have no other choice.

Nothing good to say about my experience at the Dryden Apartments on 727 Brentford Place. Don't mistreat yourself by moving here.
Upon moving in found out the foundation is bad for the entire building. The causes several problems, none of the windows in the apartment will lock. The back door will not lock as well. The window in the front bedroom will not even close completely. The management came and looked at it twice and decided to do. Nothing, I mean nothing. 11 months later it's still open(a 2 inch gap). I can hear every car that drives down the street, people in the parking lot, dogs barking across the street, everything.
The A/C unit runs out of freon every two weeks. I have place over 8 emergency work orders to have the A/C repaired. Each time during the hot summer they come the next morning and fill the freon. Then the we go through the same process of work order - freon every two weeks until it finally got cold outside. Now the heat is on and it only heats up the rear side of the apartment. The front room where the window doesn't close doesn't get heat.
I pay pest control fees. But have had ants for the entire time that I have lived here. A rat ate through the back of the cabinet in the bathroom and damaged items under the cabinet and in the drawer. After reporting it to the office, they stuck foil tape on the wall to cover the hole. A baby can break foil tape with a pinkie finger.
The walls are thin I can hear the dog running upstairs and the kids playing but I expect this in an apartment. I can smell when the neighbors poop in their restroom or smoke weed in their apartment. It's as if they were in my apartment.
There is a manditory payment for a smart app hay is suppose to lock your doors, turn on your lights, change the temperature inside the home. It hasn't worked the entire 11 months here. 25.00 manditory dollars wasted. The office said to call the app CS to get it fixed. When I called they tell me to call my office to get the smart mechanism fixed. Both are passing the buck. The office doesn't really answer the phone and the office hours change every two days. To this day when someone comes to inquire about an apartment. They sit and wait for help about 30 minutes when the office has no line waiting.
The cabinets fell off of the wall. Looks like they tried to do the subpar remodel too fast to get this unit rented out. I literally walk uphill in my bathroom. A ball will roll from one side of the apartment to the other, with no help from anyone.
There was a two inch gap under the front door for 8 months. I reported it day one. They reduced it to a 1 inch gap after 8 months. Guess they will fix it completely after another 8 months. But I will not be here.
The office staff told me that a million dollar fitness facility was being built. Once finished all of the properties owned by the management company would get a free membership. When it was completed they send out an email saying join the new gym for $20.00 a month.
Can't wash clothes when I get off work at 9pm. The downstairs neighbor goes to the office and complains. Says I make too much noise. It's not like I'm using the vacuum. I need to wash my uniforms once a week.
Left side neighbor is a back page girl - and she gets hella business. Rightside neighbor is where the weed smoke is constantly coming from straight through the walls. And upstairs is where the fully grown boxer breed dog runs and play with the kids.
Also there must be a scam going on with the towing company. They put a sticker on my car saying the tire is low and will be towed in 5 days. But next to my car was an old van that has been sitting there for 6 months with 2 flat tires and a broken window plus no registration or license plates on it. No sticker or towing for this eye sore.
There's so much more but I'm tired of typing.

I went in for a tour, there was a resident yelling at the leasing Manager over mold in their apartment. We looked around and I was not impressed, after reading the comment I'm glad! I didn't sign the lease with them. Not only is there NO, on -site gym no real amenities? I found another property of theres that has better management right up the street. In way better condition these seem very ghetto.

They have unethical practices here. Very poor management representation from this company, no one has ever gotten contact with me in regards to any problems that I've had. I've literally had to file a lawsuit to get any type of response from their corporate office. I will continue to move forward I wish you could post pictures up here to show you how much damage is actually to this property. I would suggest anyone willing to move into this property to take a look around, really look around this is poor construction, and poor service and poor living conditions for an expensive price. These are low-budget 1 star rated Apartments with a pretend 5-star tag.

I been living here for almost a year , The updates are absolutely beautiful so with this being my first apartment by my self ( only 20 )I was super happy and excited BUT The first issue i was having is maintenance will say they got something done but never fixed it so many times has this happen .! The second issue I had was back in March my home was broken into from the back & they told me it was a personal issues not knowing I just moved to Texas so I don't know anybody for me to have a personal issue yet nothing was done about it .... Lastly , They always have somebody new in the office some are sweet heart and some are just rude , they use to work with you when rent was due now they just try to get you out ... It's my last month & half because of something I have no control over they won't work with me....they change the rules & mark up prices out of no where.... Honestly I was happy told everyone about them but since my break in they have been really disappointing in Dryden the new people don't care that this is your home they just treat you like another pay check & its pretty sad to say alot of people that live here can agree & many people are doing a law suit against them ... The apartment is beautiful so they will get your attention just be careful when making your choice... I wouldn't say don't move here but sign a short lease and try it out first .

My mother stayed here for 2 years. Previous owners sucked and were very lazy. Since the switch to Dryden the new management and maintenance is great. However, the rent jumped 200$ since the change which is what forced us out. And the utility bill is excessive. You pay 20$ for trash fee but they don't even come pick up trash. For 2bdrm your utilities can reach 80$. The best thing about this place is the customer service and good pest control which you will be paying for through rent and utilities. If you can afford it i recommend it. But make sure you lock your car doors there are thieves in these apts. My car and also neighbors cars and homes have been burglarized on this property but you can't really blame the apts for that i guess.

I decided to visit the Dryden to consider it my new home. The leasing agent that I spoke with was great. She was friendly, thorough & seemed to really enjoy her job. The particular floor plan I wanted to view wasn't available, but I did get a feel for the community. I decided to go back a few weeks later so I could view the floor plan I was interested in. It was supposed to be ready but maintenance wasn't done. The same leading agent took my number down & said she would call me a few hours later when the unit was complete. Here it is weeks later & I haven't heard a word back. If, for whatever reason, the unit wasn't ready when she expected a simple courtesy call would have been nice. I would take this as my sign that Dryden isn't the place I should consider moving to.

I am okay with the updates they look nice. BUT the rate increase was absolutely unreal. My rent went from $650-$790 "due to the renovations taking place" those are the words from management. Considering that I am in an apartment that is not updated I feel as if the rates should not have jumped so high. My air conditioner has been out since January, my refrigerator has a bucket in it to catch water that drips (put in by maintenance). I have 10 more months and I am on the first thing smoking to get out of these apartments. I am currently looking at new places to move right now. My apartment smells like a weed factory, because my neighbor throws weed smoking parties every night. He has traffic trampling through ALL hours of the day and night. I am disappointed, because I have fallen in love with my apartment and I know due to all the rate increases I will have to find somewhere else to relocate to.

Having lived in this apartment complex for 2 years, I can honestly say that the improvements made by the current Management Team are much overdo. Before, this was a small, tired apartment community (built in the 1980s), at a great price in a wonderful location; now, it no longer looks like a tired community but one from this century. The staff is very friendly and work orders are handled at lightening speed (compared to the previous Maintenance teams), so overall, it is a nice place to call home.

I've been living here for about a year an a half, and overall have had a good experience. The complex is usually pretty nice and quiet, on occasion I can hear neighbor's dogs barking but that's just part of apartment living. One thing I did not consider when I moved here was that the only entrance to the complex you can turn left in/out of is right past the crest of a hill. This makes it VERY difficult to see incoming cars and it's kinda scary trying to get in from the opposite side of the road. I've been fortunate enough to never see an accident there, but I'm sure it has happened.
When the new management took over and started doing renovations, maintenance was very slow to get to work orders. I had to call the office a few times to get things fixed. However, now that they're mostly done with renovations, maintenance has gotten much quicker and any requests I've submitted have been taken care of within a day or two. The one major issue I had when living here was my upstairs neighbor's boiler exploded and flooded their apartment, eventually leaking to mine. They fixed my ceiling and replaced my carpet padding but did not replace the carpet, leaving me to attack it with baking soda and vinegar to try to get the mildew out. A few months later, I found black mold growing in a cabinet near the major leak area. They took care of it fairly quickly, but it was bad in the cabinet so it's probably pretty gross inside the ceiling above it.
The office staff and maintenance men are very nice and friendly, and if I didn't want to move closer to my job I would probably stay here (likely in a different unit though, finding mold doesn't make me feel comfortable staying in this unit another year).

Do not rent here-- trust me and the other reviews!! This place is so outdated and the rent is just as much (or more) as better apartments on the same street!! The pool is always dirty currently there are cigarette butts, used band aids, old floaties, all sorts of things. The dumpsters are always overflowing and it makes the whole area stink like trash. There is a very dangerous intersection to get in and out of the apartments and in living here about 11 months I have seen many accidents happen because of this. Don't waste your money!! Thank God my lease is almost over. Go somewhere else, even if these are cheaper it's NOT WORTH IT. I've tried to review them before and they delete reviews from their website. Pick a better place!

Beware of renting an apartment here. They lured me in on a 2 BR, 2 bath for $756.00 a month for 12 months. Then they raised my rent to $841.00 a month upon renewal of my lease. The management is rude, arrogant and untrustworthy when it comes to repairs or maintenance. Do not choose this apt complex to live in.
