The apartment is on the top (fifth) floor of the well-maintained and historic Haddon building (Don't worry - the building has an elevator). It is within walking distance of the Red, Yellow, and Green metro lines and is a three-minute walk from the much-loved S Street Dog Park. A short walk from hundreds of restaurants and bars, as well as all other kinds of entertainment. This apartment is on one of Washington's most coveted and beautiful streets - tree-lined New Hampshire Ave, NW between 16th and T Streets. The apartment boasts one of six reserved off-street parking spots for the entire building, making it one of the more exclusive places in the city to park your car.

-One HUGE walk-in closet, one very-large closet, and one regular-sized coat closet.
-No upstairs neighbors, as this apartment is on the top floor.
-There is only one unit abutting this apartment, so very little neighbor noise.
-Skylights, which open to allow fresh air, provide ample natural light throughout the apartment.
-Central air-conditioning and forced-air heat. Recently done windows for good insulation.
-Trash chute down the hall, approximately 75 feet away, so no noise or odors from that, and convenient to dispose of rubbish.
Area:
-Walking distance to Metro: Red Line - DuPont Circle Station (11 minutes), Green & Yellow Lines -U Street Station (nine minutes).
-Three-minute walk to the S Street Dog Park (see photo).
-Walking distance to restaurants, bars, and entertainment on 14th street and 17th Street in the DuPont/Logan Area, as well as in the U Street Corridor.
-Short walking distance to Trader Joe's, Harris Teeter, and Safeway (Wholefoods is a little further - 14-minute walk).
-Around the corner from Vida Gym.
Parking and Pets:
-A reserved off street parking is available (see photo) for an additional $250 per month, located just BEHIND the building (spots in front of building, visible on Google Earth, are public). There are only six spots for the entire building (47 units) and they are limited to building residents with an assigned spot. If you do not want the parking spot, the $250 fee will not be charged and the base rent of $3,200 will be charged.
-Dogs that weigh less than 20 pounds and cats are welcome, but carry an additional $50 monthly fee per pet plus an additional, non-refundable security deposit of $250 per pet. This apartment is particularly well-suited for dogs, as the S Street dog park is around-the-corner.

-Prorated rent for partial first month is certainly doable ($105 per day).
