I stayed in Seminole Trails for a year and I absolutely loved it, the management are easy going, pet friendly and the price is right especially when a million other complexes charging an arm and a leg for a true 1/1. The only down fall is parking, raccons and stray cats every where especially at night. Raccons literally take over the trash, so if you don't like raccons dont throw trash away at night !

DO NOT SIGN AT SEMINOLE TRAILS. They have roach infested, molded, thinly-walled units that aren't worth half of what you pay. I had a friend who lived there for six months and hated it the entire time. When she moved in, there were dead German cockroaches everywhere. We figured the unit had just been empty for a while but as time went on, more and more roaches would show up. It was at the point where she had to kill at least 5 a day. The property manager wouldn't exterminate the unit and would insist that the hired pest control company spray the unit instead. The spraying would kill whatever bugs were in the unit but would not stop the ones that lived in the walls and hard to reach areas. The walls were so thin that you could hear neighbors on both sides showering, opening and closing cabinets, and talking in normal voices. Paint is also used to cover up mold. Don't sign here. I have pictures of how bad the roach problem got. Comment under this review and I'll send them.

Ive been waiting for my lease to end for about a while now .. Apartments are okay. The 1/1 is a nice size. Convenient to campus . The worst thing about these apartments is that the walls are PAPER THIN. You can literally hear every single thing your neighbor is doing. The walls are so thin that even though I have a 1/1 It seems as if I have a roommate because I can hear them as if they are in my apartment. Definitely been unpleasant staying here . Would not renew and actually looking for a sublease. Definitely no peace and quiet in your own apartment from the super thin walls . Im sure there is not insulation in these walls Its basically paper for walls. If youre okay with not having peace and quiet and listening to your neighbors all day and night, this is the place , if not , Id suggest somewhere else.

Don't sign here, this apartment has no real regard for it's customers. They are over charging by implicating the extra installment payment upon move in at the end of the month. The office manager Dan is very arrogant because of the waiting list they've came across for the units. Do yourself a favor and use the same amount of money to pay for somewhere that will show you respect, and not make just your money relevant.

The only problem I can see are many of the residents leaving dog poo around and not caring for their surroundings but that is not the fault of the management at all.

This place is garbage. It's loud, parking sucks, management blows, and don't even get me started on maintenance requests. You have to call multiple times and pretty much heckle the staff in order to get someone to your apartment. If you're going to spend $649 a month for rent, I'd recommend spending it somewhere else.

THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE. I was burglarized within the first couple of days of moving in. The walls are so thin that I went to hammer a nail into my bedroom wall to put up a frame, THE NAIL WENT THROUGH THE WALL INTO MY NEIGHBORS SIDE! Every appliance breaks easily. I know this place may include Internet and tv with the rent and it's not the most expensive in tally, BUT IT ISN'T WORTH IT BECAUSE YOU WILL NEVER FEEL SAFE HERE.

I lived at Villa San Carlo for 2 years and I wouldn't recommend it. There are no gates, no fences, it's unsafe. Just during last winter break, there were 7 burglaries. Last January my apartment got broken into on a Friday morning and my neighbor's two days later, in broad daylight. As I wasn't feeling safe anymore, I decided to leave the property and asked the management to cancel my renewal for the following year. The manager almost laughed at me and was in general really rude. After finding someone who subleased my apartment, I had to wait almost 4 months to receive back my deposit. I had to write emails, call, and go several times to the Villa San Carlo office and the STU central office before receiving my deposit back literally, my money. And guess what? They found a way to take money away from it, even if there wasn't any damage on the property. Seriously, there are way safer housing solutions in Tallahassee and STU is doing an overall bad job with their guests. Just ask around or read the most recent comments, here or on other websites.
