I'll write the good and the bad. Overall I really liked living there. I was there for 2 years. Good: Right next to the market, walking distance from lots of bars and restaurants, has a pool and a gym, dog friendly, has a freight elevator to help move in and move out, has a grill to use and gated parking. Overall, people are friendly and the management is good. I heard it's just been taken over by someone new so I don't have any reporting on new management. The kitchens are nice and there are trash rooms indoors so your not walking forever to get out. It's safe in storms - in face can almost never hear anything unless on top floor. Heard there were issues on 5th floor with that stuff. Big pool parties in the summer (good and bad) nice if your a social bug. BAD: the walls from up and down are SO thin. You can hear so much and sometimes it's loud depending on your neighbors. The gate is great but it gets broken into SOOO much. That is the cost of living in the city but this place is targeted for the 'stealing season' and it was a spree only one time the 2 yrs I was there but it was bad. Don't leave anything in your car. The traffic when the market is open SUCKS. The internet BLOWs b/c it's shared. I would recommend getting your own line or you will never be able to use your computer. Some of the tenants are very immature and leave trash everywhere. They are good with cleaning up but it can be very annoying (no fault of management of course). The pool is always packed which can be fun but other times annoying b/c there isn't enough chairs when you want to just relax. Marti Gras- they don't tell you this when you move in but they are a police substation. So that means you have to have a wrist band to get into the building that day. If you do not- they won't let you in. BS if you ask me. Your locked in and they only give you 4 extra wrist bands. So- this was good and bad. Bad b/c I had planned things and they didn't tell you this until the week before Marti Gras. But good b/c you didn't have huge parties from people or vandalism like you see other houses get. Like I said- walls are thin so you do hear a lot. It was fun. I really loved living there. I moved b/c I needed more room. They are pricy but you get a lot. Washer/dryer, parking, gym, pool, party room, cable, water, trash, internet and the location is the best thing! Hope this helps- good luck and have fun!

Over priced. Poor management. and the worst part is, Cars in the parking lot get broken into routinely, and management does not do anything about it.
