Benton Park Neighborhood Summary

Historic Benton Park has recently gone through a revival that has made is a popular residential area. Between the gorgeous historic architecture, supposedly haunted bars, and its calm atmosphere, this neighborhood is one of the perfect places for a quiet walk or quiet home. However, there are also exceptional places to eat in drink in the area, though the nightlife here is rather tame. Benton Park may be a calm place to live, but the hoppin’ Downtown and Cherokee Street Business District are only a mile North. Its close proximity to Downtown has boosted its popularity with young professionals, who enjoy a more residential (and cheaper) version of Downtown.

Each month, using over 1 million Rentable listings across the United States, we calculate the median 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom rent prices by city, state, and nation, and track the month-over-month percent change. To avoid small sample sizes, we restrict the analysis for our reports to cities meeting minimum population and property count thresholds.
