Great location in the Central West End near Maryland Plaza. One block from Euclid which makes street parking easier to find if you do not use the gated parking lot. The staff was great and very responsive. Updated kitchens and bathrooms. Free coffee and espresso as well.

As a current resident at Convent Garden Apartments and also someone who goes the extra mile on their own job, i feel the need to bring to light remarkable individuals who do the same and share integrity and accomplishment. I speak of Traci Thompson property manager of Convent Garden Apartments. She is simply the warmest, caring and most accommodating managers I have ever dealt with. And i have rented my share of properties over the years. She went out of her way to help pick the right apartment that suited me. She cares greatly about the residents needs, the buildings upkeep, historic beauty and safety. She welcomes us with a smile everyone morning from her front office as we leave. She is a real positive asset to this building. The properties boasts a beautiful garden area with cathedral views.The apartments all have updated bathrooms, kitchens with stainless steel appliances, cherry cabinets and granite countertops. They are super, super clean and spacious and all rooms have crown molding, gorgeous hardwood floors, big new windows with nice views and detailed alcoves, breaking away form the average white box apartments that are out there everywhere. Talk about location too, minutes away form the heart of CWE. The second individual i speak of is Eric, the maintenance man. He is a true gem behind the scenes, he is amazing and was there from the very move in to help in any way to make sure everything was running great before i settled in. He was there immediately again later in the month to help with anything that i had a questions about. He is constantly running around keeping everything neat and tidy and everything in good shape. This is extremely rare in apartment living. What more could you ask for. In summary, this was the best and easiest move in rental experience i have ever had and the building, the residents,and staff all have such a positive vibration, i simply enjoy here.

I have been trying to learn more about available units in this building and I have only received rude emails and unanswered phone calls. The building manager seemed inconvenienced by me asking what units were available , what utilities were included, and if I could bring my puppy. None of my calls have been answered or returned. I will absolutely be renting elsewhere.

Moved in about 4 months ago now and couldn't have had a better experience thus far. The apartments are close to numerous bars and restaurants and the neighborhood couldn't be nicer. The units have been refurbished, but keep many of the historic building elements that make living in an old building very charming. Melissa, the building manager, is always in a good mood and willing to help address any problems. Since the street is gated on the one end it is a fairly quiet area with plenty of on street parking if you choose not to get a spot in the gated lot. Overall I highly recommend Convent Gardens. I looked around the area a lot and couldn't find a better deal for a one bedroom in the CWE.
