after renting here for numerous years i have decided to finally write a review of what goes on here. if your looking to live somewhere that dosnt have any problems this is NOT it for you. IF your looking for a place to go that dosent have drugs or violence this place is NOT for you. everytime i walked into the hallway all i spelt was pot. anytime i walked to the parking lot i would notice there was 15 kids younger gthen 5yrs old and not a single parent around. my car got boken into on a normal basis (and to tell the truth my car was nothing special compared to everyone else) any time you would go to the pool area all you would see was gang activity, people trying to have sex in the pool, and no caretakers around to do anything about it. if you called the maintenance person they wouldnt show up for 2 hours let alone for him to get caught sleeping in vacant appartments. (and yes i do have to say this person still works there) and now that i have moved out i finally get a letter in the mail (3 mnths later) containing what should have been my damage deposit check, but instead after i spent 3days cleaning the walls underand behind the stove, behind the frig, and cleaned every inch of the appartment. i get a notic stating i owe over $600 and this is why. $20.00 per blind that was damaged. 7hrs of cleaning ( B.S maybe if you werent sleeping it wouldve taken 10mins to notice it was clean) now yes i did have a stain or two on the carpets but not $600 worth. it cost $50 per room to steam clean carpets (i would know due to being a carpet cleaner). so if you dont mind all these issues with this place fine so be it this is all for you, but if you are in any right mind you would see that all the other reviews are from employese of highland court ( the owners of richland court ) and not previous renters.
