DO NOT RENT. We should of done more homework and looking around town but our circumstances made it so we had to move in quick. It's been a constant problem since we have. Within four months we have had the following problems/work orders:
cabinet drawers not secured, a stove burner that fell apart, windows that wouldn't lock, air conditioning emptying water on our carpet after a couple months of intermittent use, the washer and dryer breaking THREE TIMES (but they tell me to go use the other buildings? Yeah when I signed my lease that's what I expected?), a ceiling fan not secure, dishwasher issues TWICE, slow plumbing (water backing up), and I THINK that's it there was probably more.
The staff is incompetent and condescending, and always remind me that they have 11 properties they have to maintain, which I assume is the reason my apartment is falling apart (with campus properties being the exception of course). It's a shame that I have to pay nearly 1,000 for an apartment in such bad shape... and worse... with a staff that doesn't care. On top of that there are no "amenities" (pool, working laundry room, exercise room etc) and it's next to the highway which is loud.
In the end they bought up a lot of property they knew they wouldn't be able to maintain above a subpar level in the hopes of making A LOT of money, which they are. There are better management companies that will focus their time and resources into their properties and their residents. DO NOT live here.
