Every time I want to write a bad review, my internet stops working. This happens at least three times a day, and when its in an apartment that promised the fastest internet in the area, its even more frustrating. My roommates and I often come home to blaring music late at night, even during the week. When we originally moved in, our apartment was dirty and one of our doors looked like it had been kicked in. Now, this was a good first apartment to move into. Its a great location, you can't get any closer to campus without being on campus. It is also less than a five minute walk to both CVS and Dominos (which we often travel to). Every time we put in a maintenance order in, they respond quickly and are always happy to help. All of the student staff in the office are friendly and greet us with a smile every time we walk in. We were originally planning on staying another year, but after their dramatic increase in price, we decided to look elsewhere.

I currently live here and I would say there are both pros and cons. Pros being: spacious living area (we have three couches and still have plenty of room), nice size bedrooms (I had no issues organizing my furniture), and all around a decent apartment complex to live. The maintenance staff are very generous, hence there is only a few people who are maintenance but they get the job done correctly and in a timely matter and are hassle-free. The management and office workers are very courteous and are willing to help solve any issues. The mail service is good, but I do wish the actual office was open later during the week and especially the weekend. When it comes to the cons, move-in day was ridiculous and hectic and it felt as if nothing was going our way. First off, we were not told the time move-in started, showing up at 9 am, and having to wait over an hour because they didn't hand out keys until 10 am. When I got the actual keys to my apartment, they only gave me 2 out of the 3 keys because my bedroom key wasn't ready, which I believe it should have been. When we went inside our actual apartment at the beginning of move-in, oh were there issues! Our kitchen vent was leaking from the floor above us because their fridge was leaking, our fridge was not getting cold, our carpets were not cleaned, our furnace/heat vent did not even have a vent cover, and our shower was half working and was disgustingly dirty. However, maintenance responded quickly and fixed all of these issues, including giving us a new fridge! We also got a discount on the next month's rent! For the price of these apartments, I would say they are decent to live in, close to campus, and management is very kind. Overall, don't hesitate to live here and keep your options open.

I have lived here for about four years, and I've had a few bad experiences, mostly with roommates as I haven't had anyone that I know personally to live with. Granted, I feel like that can happen with any situation where you room blind with someone, and for me it was thankfully with previous management. I have absolutely loved the location and how close it is to campus, especially since I don't own a car. Pre-paying for rent in advance is a huge convenience, along with paying online and submitting service requests online as well. This place has made a lot of changes since I first moved in, and I have overall had a pretty good experience living here.

The new management is really awesome. They are doing a great job of trying to turn things around. I have met with the new manager on several occasions and he has always been helpful. I see improvements everyday. You can't beat the location. Its a good place to live!

I have definitely seen a large improvement in the management: the grounds are cleaner, the staff is consistently friendly and helpful, and I have renewed for another year. I would recommend this place as a great place to live for any Kalamazoo college student.

I moved in here at the end of last summer and I love it. the new management company has been making a lot of changes that have been positive. The new maintenance manager has been great at getting things fixed for us. When my roommate and I first moved we decided not renew our lease but with all the positive changes they have been making my roommate renewed and I wish I could (I'm moving far far away). Lately they have even had some people in to fix the wifi YES! Currently the wifi sucks but things are lookin up!

I have lived here since last Fall and I have had a good experience. They have recently hired a new maintenance man and my work order was completed the next day it was called in. The staff is friendly every time I go down to the office. Their internet previously has been a problem but they had a company come to my apartment today called fiberindy i believe so now we have fiber optic so I am going to be canceling mine that i previously paid for. This place is close to campus and the bus stop on campus so I have never had a problem being late for class. I also saved on a parking pass which is a plus!

I have lived here for the fall, and so far, this spring semester, and I can't really complain about anything. I went in blind and was put with a great set of roommates by the staff, and have had a clean, and stable living environment since I moved in! I would live here again and recommend this complex for more than its location so close to campus.
