This apartment complex is filthy and the management has no communication. You are given a phone number that goes right to voicemail which they do not return most of the time. We have had a mouse infestation problem (10 within 3 days) which they have "tried to fix" which just included maintenance stuffing steel wool in a corner and pest control laying down traps where we already had them. We asked if we could be transferred to a new apartment or let out of our lease but were told we would need to pay outrageous fees to do so. When the ceiling started to collapse due to a leak I was not told anything unless I went straight into the office to ask what was going on. The people who fixed it broke our flower pot and left moldy ceiling pieces on the carpet. I would not suggest living here to anyone and have taken it off the list of housing for graduate students.

Stay away from this place. All common areas are so filthy. You can never get a good sleep at this place because noise is a regular issue here. The staff are anything but helpful, they basically want to get rid of any complaints. Whenever it rains, the entrance is covered in mud, even the laundry room will be all dirty because rain water leaks there too! People throw trash in the hallways. Inside the apartment gets so freezing cold in winters and heaters can't help because windows are so old and heat is lost. Bottom line is simply that this place is not worth renting even half of what they are charging. I wish I could give it a zero star. People keep moving out and they will charge you outrageous penalties if you break the lease early. Just an advice for you if you are reading these lines and looking for an apartment: This is NOT a place you can call it home! Beware that there are other buildings nearby that are managed by the same company and they are all the same thing. Stay away from this property. It is a waste of your money and you will only be counting your days left to be able to leave!!

Stay away....stay far away. By far the worst place to live. There is no cleaning staff so the building is filthy. Every time you step in one of the hallways there strong odor of marijuana. You can see drug deals go down in parking lot. Any complaint you have the office people dont care and wont do a thing about it, which is probably why they cant keep a tenant. Tenants are constantly breaking their lease because how bad it is there. If a tenant does stick it out for the full term of their lease, they will jack the rent up on you. Kids run up and down the halls at all hours, causing trouble or trying to get into people's apartments. Kids there bully and assault other kids. One kid even set the building on fire with a bottle rocket. The place gets vandalized all the time. It's suppose to be secured access but people, that dont live there, have been able to pull hard to open the door with out the swipe key. The security cameras are non working so they cant catch the vandals. The place is just a mess.

STAY AWAY FROM HERE!! I lived her and soon discovered that there were bed bugs everywhere! It was a complete severe infestation. I have never in my life had even seen a bed bug before living here. Threw all my stuff out and moved as soon as I could! It was so disgusting and absolutely terrible.
They work very well with you when having issues paying rent. Also if you ever need maintenance they come and fix it very quickly.

This is the worst place I ever stayed in. I wouldnt recommend a homeless person to stay in this place. The apartment complex is very nasty. I have seen dog poop all outside in the grass. Trash all over the building. Dead birds and the hallway. A person and the office came and took a picture of it two days ago. And the bird is still sitting and the hallway. No one every cleans up. I only seen the building clean three times since I was there. I stayed there for a year. And I hated it. The walls are super thin. I can hear the people down stairs music. And the people next door having sex. I went the hold winter with my heat begin broke. I call two times for it to be fixed. They came and fixed it three times. And I still didnt have any heat. Some days it work some days it dont. It literally was the worst place I every lived. And so happy to be moving out. They want they rent on time but cant even take care of the property.
Walls are paper thin, trash in hallways and parking lot disgusting as well.
Any repair requests I've had lately the maintenance team has been able to fix the problem fast and they are mostly friendly.
It's nice to see some newer faces of the maintenance team here at Oak Valley Apartments actually come to work on appliances or at least have a solution asap.

I've lived here since Feb 2016, I was hesitate at first when I read some of the reviews back then, other then some of the tenants letting there dogs poop in the hallway an not picking it,but the cleaning ppl removes it when u notify the office. I must say I have not had any issues with my apt,no bed bugs or roaches.They come out every couple of months an spray the apts, all the ladies in the office have always been nice an respectful to me.I would definitely recommend this complex to my family an friends.

If I could give a half of a star I would. $609 for a one bedroom that's not even worth it, can't have internet out here cause the cords get messed with, can't get cable unless you have a balcony (which we were told we would get about 1 week prior to moving in) AND my husband and I just had to throw our mattress, box spring, blankets,etc away because we lifted up our bed and it had a COLONY of bedbugs. We didn't bring those with us from our previous home nor have we owned a pet. But they expect you to pay $1,000 for a treatment. A week after living here my husband found multiple roaches and other bugs. We are NOT dirty people. This complex is DISGUSTING. Will be terminating our lease early, without hesitation.

My husband and I have lived here for almost three years. Inside the buildings have beautiful title floors and the cabinets are very lovely. The walk-in are also spacious. New property managers (Elevate) have taken over about a year ago. It has dramatically went down hill since we moved in. They have so called "courtesy officers" to mediate resident issues (loud parties for example.) - Never answers. There are often loud parties until 4 am almost every weekend and have been a few fights in the courtyard. The office staff is very rude. The area around our dumpster floods when it rains and creates a little "moat" around the dumpster so you can't throw away your trash. There as also been a huge lack of cleaning since the new managers have taken over. The grounds and hallways are disgusting and often smell baldly. Save your money - this place is not worth the price of rent for the environment and community.
