I fell in love with these online but the love slowly faded away when I agreed to meet with Julian (I believe that's his name) at a time that was at least an hour before the office was open that day and he didn't even work that day so I felt the love again when ashley said that they would hold an apartment for me, gave me a printout that included the cost and fees of the apartment and also that we would meet on a specific date to provide the deposit for the first months free special. Then it went away again when I came on that date and none of the apartments were available. Ironically, jullian was there that day and I no longer qualified for the special But there was a 400 credit special I offered to give the deposit and 4 days later give the rest but he then said waiting 4 days would increase my rent throughout the entire lease and then it would be a 200 credit. No attempt to accommodate whatsoever so I went somewhere else.

I have lived here for 4 years. The management was better then. The new manager used to be a leasing agent now she came back as a manager. The new manager has no managerial experience. When Lonnie retires the maintenance team will go down hill even more. There is no customer service skills here. The only good person in the staff is Ashley. She actually follows up, she cares, and she has common sense. Yes, there is a mouse issue, yes there is mold, and yes they cannot fix the toilets. The maintenance staff is sub-par as well as the office staff due to poor management. Management and staff is argumentative. The maintenance worker Gabby almost ran over my mother then laughed about it. When we went to the office he stated yelling at her. The new manager had no control. Then I had to diffuse the situation. The staff needs trained, coached, and upper management from corporate needs to review the staff. Look into the retention of residents and if there is a difference from years ago and now. It's out of control. Maintenance spends way too much time in the office and not working. Also, poor cleaning of the grounds of poop, trash, snow removal, and etc. Get it together this is a business.

I placed an online maintenance request to have the toilet in the master bedroom fixed on 12/25/17. However, it is now 01/01/18 and the toilet is still broken. If I thought that having a 2 bedroom 1 bath home was appropriate, then I would be paying for that. Instead, I opted for the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom. Since I am paying for two bathrooms, I expect them to be serviced, when needed, in a reasonable amount of time. This isn't the first maintenance issue I've had, and their response is always slow. There should be a dedicate service level agreement that states up front how long it will take for someone to at least come out to your apartment to take a look at the issue.

The bills just came for this month with over $100 in extra fees. I'm talking about "processing fees" for water, gas, and rent. Things that we already pay for. If the rent seems reasonable here, it's because they'll find plenty of ways to charge you extra. The apartments themselves are nice enough, but they're not worth the actual price that your rent comes out to.

I have been here almost 2 years. I transferred from a garden that was not fully updated to a 1 bedroom townhome that is completely upgraded and I love it. I do live near the front and I have not had any issues with neighbors. I love the diversity. I actually moved here because I didnt have the best credit or rental history and they allowed me to move in giving me a second chance which I think was awesome. It wasnt that I couldnt pay my rent previously I just always paid it a few days late here and there and most nice communities will not accept you because of it. I think its a cool place and worth the money. Its close to Polaris, Sharon woods and on the express bus line.

I lived in Hickory Creek for over 14 years . I lived in 3 different apartments because of safety issues. Had several attempted break-ins and never felt safe. Years ago management would alert us to break-ins and car thefts. Current staff does nothing to alert anyone. I will say that the maintenance staff is superb especially Lonnie and Brennan. The dog situation is totally out of hand. No leashes and no dog poop pick up at all, at least for the most part. Where I live now, no notices at all, if maintenance or a resident reports a violation, the resident is immediately fined. Place is going down hill and no one seems to care. My apt. was full of mold, which I personally had tested. Dumpsters are always overflowing. I would tread with caution.

I lived here several years. Management changed and my rent went up almost 200 a month. The reason I give it 1 star is their deceptive billing practices. Rent is due by the third and Iogged in online pay and paid my balance to 0 on the first. Then on the 4th they charged me a late fee because the first was a weekend and no stagf had added water\trash fees in until the 2nd or 3rd so they made me pay a late fee on that. Also, they put an eviction notice on my door one evening. It didn't have a name on it so it wasn't until the next day when I went to ask why that I found out it was meant for a different resident. Not cool!

My husband and I sold our condo and needed an apartment in the area. We were more than pleased with Hickory Creek Apartments. We received a very warm greeting from Jamie and liked the layout, size and storage space in the unit. Every experience with the application process, etc. was seamless and we really love our apartment.

I've lived here since late July. A week after moving in, someone shot out my patio window while I was home. At the end of December, someone tried to kick my door down while I was asleep. A couple days later, someone stole the catalytic converter off my car. I've heard of multiple people getting broken into around me. Someone else had their door kicked in the same day someone tried to kick my door in, as well. However, the office staff is great. The apartments are very nice and are a good value. Unfortunately, I can absolutely not recommend these apartments. You WILL have someone try to break in, and you'll possibly have parts stolen off your car. The crime rate here seems incredibly high.

Called the number for the police to file a report that was given to us by the complex, and haven't received a called back for 2 months after countless times trying to get ahold of them. You will get broken into and or have car parts stolen right off of your car. And nothing will be done. Do not live here. And for the love of Christ if you have children don't even think about it. RUDEST PROPERTY MANAGER I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED. MICKEY BOWLING IS THE MANAGER AND IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL as most of the staff is. The website for payment is down and instead of providing empathetic and sincere concern for the matter. MICKEY was very rude, cut me off when speaking, spoke with a demeaning tone and did not apologize once for the inconvenience once. After a very disrespectful conversation, I asked for her last name and she HUNG UP ON ME. I pay rent every month on time. There is not reason she should be working in a place of business as rude as she is. Complaint going to corporate.

Ceilings are filthy, dog crap everywhere no one cleans up after their pets.....and they are all huge. Mail box hasn't worked since in first got here, mail doesn't get delivered properly I get everyone's mail but mine. The cabinetry is falling apart, and all they will do is re-staple the crap. The lobby is beautiful but look behind the facade, its junk, pure junk.
