This is the best apartment complex my husband & I've ever lived in! The location is just amazing (Fulton & Canal next to Ogilvie and Fulton Market District), the staff and management are extremely organized and helpful, and the premises are well maintained. Special Mention of Safira, the property manager. Safira is the reason we went ahead to sign the lease at Left Bank. We looked at many places downtown but, the moment that Safira picked up the phone on our initial informational phone call, we knew we would be able to call this place home. Safira expedited the whole process, and made sure that our living arrangements were all taken care of when we arrived to Chicago from Connecticut for the first time. She is so wonderful and joy to interact with. She has been always attentive of our needs. Safira and the entire office staff are fantastic people, keep it up y'all! The apartments are beautiful and there are great amenities such as an amazing rooftop deck with grilling stations and an awesome view of Chicago, heated Jacuzzi, party room, entertainment and relaxing lounges. The building always feels secure and safe and residents are warm and friendly. Below is a list of stuff that's really good about this place from someone who's lived here more than 4 years: -The maintenance team is friendly and is constantly cleaning the hallways and main areas. -They respond to requests quickly. -They have 24/7 friendly and personable concierge staff. -They have a dry cleaner that is also the package receiving room, the lady over there is very professional. You dont have to leave the building for drop off/pick up. -They have a convenience store in the building that has a wide variety of food items/snacks/grocery. -Our one bedroom and one bathroom apartment had a TON of storage! The walk-in closets were amazing! -We never had to worry about parking spaces in the garage. Access to Zipcars in the parking garage. -The heated pool was perfect and well maintained. -24/7 large gym and weights room with lots of machines and space impressive for an apartment complex. -Beautiful club rooms with pool tables and new upgraded kitchen and furniture. -Free Coffee in the mornings in the lobby. -Nice appliances (including washer & dryer!) -We had an amazing view of the river from our apartment. It was outstanding. -Easy Access to I-90, EL Trains (Pink/Green/Brown & Blue) and Metra. -Online community and rent pay center - very convenient. -Most residents are young professionals - easy to make friends. Left Bank also sets up socials frequently which were nice. We've really enjoyed my time here, as have friends and family who've come to visit. Left Bank has earned their 5-star rating! We highly recommend Left Bank if you're looking for luxurious downtown Chicago living.

I lived at the Left Bank for many years and can't say enough good things abut it. Safira and the rest of the staff are top notch, and I've loved my unit. The views always impress my guests, and the gym saves me from having to get a membership elsewhere. The terrace is a great amenity too. In this area, I think that the Left Bank is the best combination of quality, convenience, and value.

Ive lived here for 4+ years. Location is what brought me here and ultimately what keeps me here, but really its more than that. Ive never had an apartment that felt so much like a home. It is quiet, it is clean, it is well managed. The folks in the management office are great. The maintenance program and staff are also great - items that need attention are dealt with in minutes. Its competitively priced for the neighborhood. Every year I look at similar buildings in similar neighborhoods and I've never found a reason to pack up and leave. As long as I keep working nearby, I'll continue to choose Left Bank at K Station where I lay my head.

Loved the location of it, walk to work and grocery store, clean and well maintained building, cleaners and mail room in the building, parking if needed, one of the best views you can get in the city hands down. The bad The doorman people switch around constantly, Im not sure if they get fired or whats the process here but we had great people for 2 years, the last one and new lady the one with the braids is a total pain to deal with, every time you need her to do something shell give you an attitude, use a condescending tone or just plain tell you That's not my job not like she is doing anything really. Horus, Andrew, what happen to them? They were freaking great. Amenities we used to have internet, electric and cable included for $100 a month, now we dont. Rent went up over $200 bucks over two years and we lost the pool that never worked and the jacuzzi. I dont see why they are still listing the building as having those amenities, they are not working and are not coming back. The Dry Cleaners/Mailroom is the same thing, so if you cant make it back before 6ish you are out of luck, you can call the front desk and ask them to take the package out, if you get unlucky and get the angry woman, cross your fingers. Advice to management: Keep your good doorman people, perhaps e-mail a survey and keep the ones that perform well. Not one person has been hyped about turning the pool/jacuzzi room into a yoga room. Limit the amount of people that someone can invite into the deck, Ive seen some that invite over 15 people and take over an area. I dont live in Wrigley for a reason. Ask tenants to clean after themselves when using the grills. All in all Id recommend the place if you can function as a sane human with the constant train noise. The deck is great when its open, half of the grills at least work and the fireplace is great. Computers, office rooms are nice however, I see no need to ever use them, if you can afford to live here you can afford to have a computer in your apartment.

I lived here for a year before moving out of town. This is a nice plan in a great location. You can save a little bit of money by not being in the absolute newest building and not being smack dab in the middle of the River North or something. Close to everything. I picked it because of the great proximity to the trains. Would recommend... though you will have to adjust to the noise of those trains. Doesn't take long before you don't even notice.

Left Bank is a great place to live! I have lived here for almost a year and only have great things to say. The views are absolutely amazing overlooking the river and the amenities are great (spacious gym and outdoor deck with grills). I was worried about the noise with the trains nearby before I moved in and was tuning them out by the second night living here. I worked with Safira and she was always fast to reply, very helpful (throughout the whole year), and extremely friendly. 5 stars!
