I have now lived here for apx. 18 months and I am still very happy. I love my unit and the amenities that the building offers. That said, it's the staff that makes it worthwhile. From the Leasing Staff to the Concierge Staff to the Maintenance Crew. Everyone is helpful, kind, timely, and knowledgeable. I have yet to have a single issue that wasn't able to be quickly resolved. I continue to recommend living here.
I am very happy with my stay so far. It's been about 4 months. The maintenance crew, front desk staff and cleaning crew are top notch. They are extremely friendly and helpful. The maintenance always completes my requests immediately and is kind and respectful, even though I feel like I have a request at least once a month. My move-in process was also smooth and easy. I hope that the renewal process isn't crazy and I can stay for a while.

The staff are so helpful with any questions and concerns you throw their way! Chantelle most of all has been such a joy to work with. I've been asking non-stop questions but she's always quick to reply and provide a useful response. In general other apartments are so poor in the communication area (won't answer emails or answer calls) but Avalon is a completely different story!

Had one of the most pleasant apartment tour sessions of my life. Loved Fatima and Sean and they were both beautiful people and were incredibly helpful with the process even though it was self-guided. Avalon streamlined their touring process beautifully and I didn't have to worry about anything. The weather was beautiful and seeing the rooftop deck on a sunny day is a real-life screensaver. The residents were so nice as one of them gave me an elephant that I named Ava in tribute to this wonderful establishment. Everything seemed family-friendly and was very affordable as well as beautiful. 10/10 from the staff to the apartment complex and all of its amenities. Looking forward to applying. I only took so many pictures for privacy reasons, so you will have to see it and experience it for yourself! But, I do have a picture of Ava and a couple amenity pictures for you all to enjoy.

After our moving package approval, Shon kindly made us the tour towards the boarding elevator for moving purposes.
The manager Ryan is also very kind, welcoming, humble, professional, with a great sense of humor, efficient, pragmatic, & very supportive..He is a great leader!!! My son likes the amenities!!! Its safe with 24hrs security concierge..Its an adorable community!

My fiancee and I lived together at Avalon for two years and had a great experience, other than rent increases (not their fault though)....
My fiancee and I lived together at Avalon for two years and had a great experience, other than rent increases (not their fault though). Then last year we moved over to AVA Noma, which is an amazing building. Unfortunately, we had an apartment above the gym and constantly heard weights being dropped so we decided to move back to First + M and get a 9th floor apartment. It's been great to be back!
The best feature of First + M and frankly, what makes it a 5-star experience is the people. Pat and his team are great; Ashoka, N'Dora and Azuree in particular continually go out of their way to greet us daily and ask how we are doing. Maria and Nikki are incredibly helpful as well. That really makes a huge difference and makes First + M feel like more than just a temporary place to live.

Clean, pleasant environment with good sound-proofing between units. Nice tenants. Excellent front desk staff, prompt & responsive maintenance team. Pet friendly, great fitness center that is rarely crowded, nice rooftop pool, and other +++amenities. Great location, relatively good security with fobs required at door and in elevators. After 6 months - highly recommended.
