My roommates and I had to relocate due to a serious safety issue at our current place. I talked to Jasmine from JSM and she was nothing but accommodating. She showed us an apartment available and was very patient and flexible. She understood our situation and was very quick on giving us answers due to our horrible situation. Even though there were questions she was uncertain, she went above and beyond to give us answers and try and help us out. Highly recommend her to anyone who is considering renting with JSM in the future.

JSM is super friendly and they have great options for apartment living. My switch over to them is definitely a positive change for my next year living arrangements. Super amazing apartments! Already basically half-live with my friend who rents from them and I'm impressed.

I have been living with JSM in 700 S. Gregory St. for a little over 2 months now. I love it so much that I decided to resign with JSM for another year! The apartment complex is clean, quiet, and functional. The JSM employees are all very friendly, and make the process of finding and leasing an apartment smooth and worry-free as possible. I would recommend JSM as a lessor to just about anyone on the University of Illinois campus.

My daughter rented an apartment from JSM from August 2015 through August 2016. Everything was fine until the week she moved out. She was charged $90 when she locked herself out of the building (which is a lot to pay for that service, but this WAS her responsibility). However, instead of receiving her $700.00 security deposit (after my husband and I helped her clean the apartment thoroughly the day she moved out), she received $362.56 She was charged $110 for carpet cleaning ( and an additional $137.50 for apartment cleaning (that's 5.5 hours X $25 = 137.50). It was a one-bedroom apartment, with a closet size bathroom, and as I said, my husband, daughter and I cleaned it ourselves!!! Renters beware of the contract you are signing (none of us remember reading that customary and reasonable cleaning when a tenant moves out IS CHARGED TO THE TENANT!!) We have never had this experience before with other apartment rentals, and don't appreciate picking up the tab for cleaning the rental agency should be responsible for.

Everybody at JSM was very helpful and made the process of renting an apartment that much easier. The people there did the most they could to make you happy in your search for an apartment. Overall, a wonderful company to lease from.

Kennedy Wilson really overprices their properties and are super slow to take care of maintenance requests. We had a bee hive under our porch and we repeatedly asked them to have an exterminator come and fix the problem, but there are still bees...
