The house is just past the rec center on Solvang in Tahoe Donner on a generous sunny lot with East-facing mountain views, a large 2-car garage, giant boulders out the back bedroom windows, light pine trim everywhere, and integrated kitchen dining great room with awesome views. It has jacuzzi hookups already available at the rear of the house where it's a bit more protected from snow. The East facing driveway makes for quick melting. The house has great windows and is very light with lots of sun year-round. A large upper level deck also faces East and is right off the dining room for great outdoor eating access. The wood burning stove is attractive and efficient and can heat the whole upstairs if desired and creates that great cabin feel during the snowiest days. It's 2 stories with a lower level consisting of 1BR, full bath and Family room and laundry and giant 2 car garage. The lower space could be used somewhat separately from upstairs as it's connected via an open stairway through the garage but has doors at the top and bottom partially isolating the lower level. Perfect for a young adult, parent or second family who needs a little more privacy or their own space but is OK sharing the kitchen upstairs. It also works great for in-house office space/guest space (and was when we lived there).
