This community is huge! It is surrounded by trails, parks, and you can see the stars at night. Nice amenities, but you pretty much pay for everything — extras due with rent—(whether you take advantage or not)—$8/mo/car to park in your own driveway or not to be able to find parking somewhere else, $30/mo for trash collection (5 evenings a week, but not on holidays or whenever it is forecasted to snow), etc. Apartments are lovely, but top floor is essential if you don’t want to feel like a herd of elephants are constantly tramping overhead, and if anyone in your building is working in their garage at night, you’ll know it. Grounds are only kind of kept up with, snow only plowed when absolutely essential, so there’s trash and animal feces around constantly, and roads are typically icy and treacherous in spots all winter long. Garages and cars are often broken into, and even with many requests, there is no security in place. Appliances look decent, but are low-end and loud. It’s adequate, but I don’t feel like I’m getting value for the cost.
