When I moved to Cortona it had just opened. The propertypersonnel were always there and made living there great. I lived there for four years before I had to move, going back to Texas. The monthly parties, quality of maintenance, night security and the amenities at the apartment were all great. A Great place to live.

Living at Cortona is perfection! It's near the highway to get you downtown or anywhere you need to go in STL. The apartments are spacious with updated appliances. If needed, maintenance requests are always done in a timely manner (but most I ever really needed was a new light bulb). The pool/hot tub becomes such a fun area in the summertime or you can relax in the cabanas and have a BBQ. One of the best parts, which is hard to find anywhere else, is the staff. They put a lot of work into planning fun happy hours and truly do care about all of their residents. l have lived here for 3 years but will be moving out of state for work. Every other place I look at in the future I will compare to Cortona because it really is top notch.

Great place to live!! It was our first home in St. Louis, and we only moved bc we bought a house in the suburbs recently. The staff and maintenance crew are second to none. They are always extremely accommodating, polite and make the effort to get to know the residents personally. They routinely sponsor happy hours, brunches, and parties which are great if you are new to the area and want to get to know people. The apartments and building itself are probably the nicest in all of St. Louis. We searched extensively when we moved in and it was head and shoulders above the rest. They are modern, well kept, and the amenities such as pool (with cabanas)/ high end gym/ lobby bar/ outdoor grilling and fire pits are great for entertaining. The area is safe, the parking lots are gated and there is security on site, as well. Well miss this place and cant recommend it highly enough!!

I absolutely LOVED living here! I lived at Cortona for almost 2 years and the only reason I left is because I moved out of state. If I could have picked up the building, staff, residents, and amenities and moved them with me I would have! The building is always kept absolutely spotless, and the units are nice with high end finishes and nice touches. I only had to put in one maintenance request while I was there and it was taken care of within an hour (and it was not at all an emergency). The pool area is stunning and doesn't get too rowdy or crowded. The staff is super friendly and responsive and they really make you feel like you are home. Best apartment I have ever lived in hands down!

Amazing place to live! The staff is incredibly friendly, courteous, and available. The entire Cortona complex is clean and well kept. The residents are also extremely neighborly and the staff encourages this attitude with monthly (free) happy hours and catered brunches. We had only small maintenance issues while we lived there and maintenance staff resolved all issues within 24 hours. I highly recommend this apartment complex for anyone moving to St. Louis, you won't regret it!

Best place I have EVER lived! Lived in 7 different apartments in Chicago and this is the first apartment I've ever lived in St. Louis and wouldn't chose anywhere else. The staff is THE most friendly staff you will find ever, including maintenance, they are accommodating and love getting to know all of their residents by name. There are resident happy hours almost monthly, a resident themed party each year, and many other wonderful amenities.

Convenient location to Washington University and the BJC Medical Campus. Easy access to 44 or 64. The apartments are well maintained, well built, quiet, and the staff is super responsive. The gym has high end equipment and the pool and hot tub a bonus. There is space to store bicycles and parking spots can be rented for an additional cost.

Great place with an absolutely amazing staff. I loved living at the Cortona and would highly recommend living there. The pet policy is one that all rentals should use, as they do not discriminate on what type or size of dog you have. Instead of judging a dog on it's breed or size, they ask for a letter from your veterinarian stating that your dog gets along with other people/dogs. When walking down the hallways, residents greet each other, unlike many places I have stayed before. The location is great, as we were able to walk to forest park and enjoy all of the free events throughout the park. I have lived in 10 different locations, 7 of which being in St. Louis, and The Cortona is by far my favorite.

If you're looking for a place with no ammenities, inconsistent managment, and no sense of community, then this is the place for you. If not, look elsewhere!

This is a great place to live as it is really near to Wash U Danforth campus and has two BDs and BAs for roommates to share. I lived there for 1.5 years while attending college and the apartment manager was actually helpful and responded to any concerns that we had. She actaully knew your name and apartment number and cared about residents. There were Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas dinners etc. for students or residents who lived far away from home which was nice also.
