Poor management skills and communication. I moved in to new turn apartment and after a week I noticed moist on the wall and mold start to show on the walls a immediately notified the building manager but she didnt take any action after 3 weeks when everything gotten worse she told me I have to move out now so they can fix the mold in the apartment I find that so unprofessional and poor management besides that 2 break in happened in the building and every day I would see homeless shooting drugs near the building entrance. I dont recommend this as safe building to live in. Thanks for reading.

I highly recommend that if you are considering living here, please just start looking somewhere else. I am a current resident here at the complex and within the last week. I have had TWO bikes stolen from their secured bike storage inside their secured garage. When I told them that the first one was stolen they told me that they couldnt do anything and the footage from the garage was too long to look at. So nothing was done. Luckily my renters insurance coverage some of the bike. However just discovering that my new bike was stolen again with no sign of forced entry. I have given up on Seventh and James to keep their tenants and their possessions safe. My wife and I just signed a new lease but Im going to go to the police and an attorney about getting out of it.

I LOVE SEVENTH AND JAMES. Yes, the building is older, and yes, the building is next to the freeway, but to be this centrally located to everything for this price?? A PHENOMENAL deal. The service team is so responsive, even though the guarantee is 48 hours all my requests are typically handled in under 24 hours. The office staff is amazing as well! I know I can count on Rachelle and Anastasia when I need a quick response. Did I mention our rooftop? It is SO CUTE! With couches and lounging chairs as well as two grills and a huge table that I love to use for entertaining. They are currently repainting and everything is looking so bright and fresh now! I work for Equity Residential so I have been to my fair share of apartments and I still would choose Seventh & James any day of the week! Thank you Rachelle, Anastasia and the amazing service team for making my transition from college life to apartment living so seamless!!
