The apartment complex offers a large number of amenities, and the apartments themselves are relatively nice due to its newer construction. But I would not call this "luxury" living by any means.
Firstly, there are some major drawbacks to living in such a massive apartment complex. Parking underground in the garage, taking the extremely slow elevator upstairs, and walking to your unit takes a solid 5 minutes. Moving furniture in or out of the apartment is an absolute nightmare, and carrying groceries upstairs is not fun either.
Secondly, you will find a number of pests in the area. I have seen crickets, MASSIVE spiders, ants all over the shower, and towards the end of the year we had a huge cockroach infestation in the kitchen.
Thirdly, the noise from the baseball games early on Saturday mornings and road noise from El Camino Real is no joke. This problem is the worst in building 1, the other buildings may not have been that bad but I'm not sure.
Fourthly, after our lease ended they gave us a renewal offer featuring a nearly 12% increase in rent! Absolutely ridiculous prices to pay for a 2 bedroom apartment. Now, the gated community and gated garage might provide some security, but you're still getting robbed by the leasing office so what difference does it make. One thing I will miss is the hot tub though, that thing is pretty nice. Overall, save your money and go somewhere else.
EDIT: Initially I gave this rating 3 stars but I think it was too generous. After the move out inspection where they said everything looked good, they later informed us that they would be replacing the ENTIRE carpet and had to paint the ceiling (what..). So, if you choose to live here, kiss your deposit goodbye! You will never see it again.

I would never go to this place again , these people should know that domicilio is not the only place in santa clara for renters.

What I loved:
- Dryer, Washer Unit
- Swimming pool, and a hot tub
- Upgraded machines 24/7 Gym access
- Safe and nice area and attentive staff
- Movie Theater, Grills, Pool table

Lived here almost a year and got a mixed impression.
Major issue: the price jumped over the year. I got more than 10% increase, and the website price is even more, 20% over the last year. One top of that the agency push you to have the rental renewal in August, hottest time with highest prices. Can't afford that and have to move out.
Cons:
- Fire alarm. Be ready to enjoy it, most pleasantly in the nights. Can't trust it for so many false alerts, but the bad thing is that once it was a real fire, see the photos.
- Noisy climate system, both the block inside the apartment and the one at the balcony, the latter is even worse (you hear the neighbor's one). Good to have it for really hot days in the summer, but almost impossible to use more frequently, especially overnight.
- Appliances are not bad, but I didn't like the washer (and climate system again of course). I had several different before and they did better job. The dishwasher also could perform better and quicker.
- As some of reviewers already pointed out, a lot of SCU students live here. This is both nice and not very nice, because they can be noisy. My impression that most of them lives in the building #1. I was lucky to live in a building which is at another side of the complex.
- The Santa Clara area is pretty boring, don't expect much.
- I would not recommend to live on the bottom floors of the exterior side of building #2, if you are not interested to smell the opened trash containers in the morning.
- The recent exterior parking asphalt restoration was complete waste of money and unreasonable bothering of tenants. And yes, the ants started to appear after that, even on the top floor.
- The San Jos-Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility is relatively close, sometimes there is a smell when the wind takes that direction.
Pros:
- Close to the Caltrain, there is a minimalistic set (Safeway, few simple restaurants, Starbucks) in the walking distance, Santa Clara university campus is very nice. Quick access to the highways.
- Appartments are really spacious, no complaints here. Windows are good in terms of noise and thermal isolation, overall quality is not too bad, but for sure not "luxurious" as it is claimed.
- The complex is nice, clean and green, however it is a bit compact. It is relatively new construction (2006) with pretty modern layout, where you don't feel that you traveled back to the future (like in many places in MV or MP). Although the area s pretty quite, I anyway like that it is gated.
- Didn't have major issues during my stay, but for small ones the maintenance team was great, fast and efficient.
The bottom line: for the last year price it was a decent offer, current price is crazy. Quite curious to see the next year.

Terrible management. Used to be up front and directs but now can't even present simple requests to ensure things are being executed fairly.
I can't believe I lived here for 7 years. Now they want to kick me out of a community by secretly not giving my lease renewal options.
I know a good 30% of the community here and as expensive as it has been I was in part of a program which I had lived here for over 5+ years and NEVER had an issue with management ever with lease renewal. It's too bad because I have never felt so bamboozled in my life.
Avoid this place as I will be bringing it up to the necessary individuals. Its funny how people want to leave your 8 year old daughter, roommates, and yourself high and dry when you have been paying renting on time for the last 7 years!

BEWARE! HARASSING! SAFETY??? Maintenance staff is known to go thru your house when you give them "authorization to enter" when you are not there. Dishwasher was replaced which is right when you walk in yet bedroom, bathroom and other parts of house were gone thru. Now they just unauthorized towed my car when the Domicilio Staff gave them permission. I live here!!! So now have to pay $400 to get my car back! Students beware as if Maintenance people are going thru your house and snooping around...there could be thefts. Plus think of safety! Property Manager Mona is the one behind the harassment so I will now have to file agains't them in court. Do you really want to live somewhere that you have to go to court? Stay Away!
