I lived at city south for 2 years and I absolutely loved it ! I used to live at the Other apartments next to them (bay terrace ) and it was not as good as city south so when my family and I decided to move here it changed a lot of good things for us ! It was way more quiet and peaceful. Very quick process to lease and move in and the maintenance team always responds well they speak English and Spanish which was really nice for my parent in laws who only knew Spanish. The community is very quiet and peaceful everyone just kinda keeps to themselves which is very nice and Ive had no issues with neighbors. I did notice some people still arent wearing the mask even in the common areas Wheres theirs a lot of people but its understandable I guess so if youre fully vaccinated. They did update the kiosk while we were there and it helped a lot I do love the new changes they made for the locks it is way easier with everything being on the device and a keypad especially if you have kids its less of a hassle to unlock now ! My only complaint is when the owners leave theirs a certain car that speeds down the driveway all the time and that is not safe for kids or people holding smaller children it even says to slow down coming in the driveway but it still happens maybe a bigger sign perhaps or something for them to see. Other then that its the best apartments my family and I had we only had to leave cause it was getting a bit to much which is very understandable but if we had to come back in the future to San Mateo we most likely would come to city south !

Very nice , quiet and clean apartment . Good services , facilities are awasome.

I moved to Cali from the east coast and City South is my first home here in the Bay Area. The staffs are super helpful and friendly in the entire process, eg. move-in, maintenance, and etc. The location is nice as well. Close to 101, Costco, Safeway. The only thing I would complain about is that they dont have enough cameras, and that should potentially enhance the security.

Lived hear for 3 years and loved it. Sad we had to move out recently, but found our dream home. The office staff is quick to answer emails and always friendly. Would live here again and recommend it to all.

This is a great facility! Its clean and quiet and the office is very helpful. Melissa is very sweet and helpful!
