This apartment complex used to be delightful until the new owner took over. There is always a new problem here. There has been construction going on all week because the leasing office is having their roof redone. It is 8 AM this Sunday morning and there is so much noise already from the construction ! They work from sunrise to sunset , I understand the job has to get done but we can't sleep in at all any day this week! Its supposed to go on for another week, could you imagine hearing construction from 8 AM to 8 PM everyday ? Oh and its not low volume construction, its very very loud and annoying. There is NEVER any parking here after 7 PM and with the construction there is even less parking! Me and my husband are moving out A.S.A.P. we just don't know what's coming next and we are not hanging around for it.

I really did not want to have to do this but the apartment complex leaves me no choice. It has not even been 5 months since I have moved in with my girlfriend and I must say it is way worse than a bad expierence. Aside from having our flush repaired the first week, a car break in , and the gate code never working , the AC constantly breaks! This is the FIFTH time in less than 5 months we come home to 85 degree plus in our apartment! Last time they said the AC filter was put in backwards when the only person to touch it was the maintaince man ! We moved here based on the good reviews, which are tremendously MISLEADING ! Don't get yourself stuck in a lease like we did with this ridiculous place.

Hello google viewers. My roommate and I are looking for a new apartment and this happened to be one of the locations we checked out. On Saturday June 16th we stopped in and spoke with Rhea, she was wonderfully nice, answered our questions and though she couldn't give us a tour she was able to show us pictures of the apartments. This location is still in my current top choices.

I now live here movin from my 3000ft squ home 2 a 1100sq ft apt was depressing in itself but ms Rhea has not only made the transition easier but I am learning to live w/it. Not only do ms rhea and Ms Maria get an A+, but the apts & the people who live here have made it a much happier transition. I miss my home but I'm learning to make a new home. Now if I could just get my furniture......lol

Quiet residence. No kids or people hanging out outside. Older individuals live here (sweet). When I place a service order, issue is usually repaired within 24-48 hrs the most. I moved because I needed a bigger place. Appliance upgrades could beneficial, AC unit you can tell is really old and is probably the bulk of my electric bill (I live alone). Honestly no complaints the entire 3 years I was here.

My Girlfriend and I are returning residents! First moved here back in January 2012 moved to another city for a job offer. Finally got a job opportunity back in San Antonio in Summer of 2017 and moved right back here! Love it here! Small community, very very well maintained, maintenance man Danny is amazing, friendly and very good at what he does. All Staff is amazing. Pool and pool area is always clean.
Only down fall is there's really nowhere for the kiddos to play or really run around they have to play out on the walk way or in the back area facing Heimer Road. But no big deal my 12 year old son still makes the best out of it. Plus the neighbors are kind and pretty much all are long time residents. You of course got a few grumps but no biggie.
My son's middle school is walking distance from here and the neighborhood in general is great.

You will not regret moving here. The staff here are the friendliest people I have ever met in my life, their maintenance worker has always been quick to attend to emergency maintenance and is just as friendly!
The location of this complex is great too, everything is within walking distance such as an elementary school, public library and a home depot. There is an HEB, and a shopping strip with a barber, MMA gym about two to five minutes away and the complex is 15 minutes away from the airport.
This place is a solid 15 minute drive to Ft. Sam with no traffic in the mornings and half an hour back in the evening. Lackland is an hour commute and Randolph is half an hour with no traffic. I got my deposit back with no issues as well even though I left the place dirty and a mess because I had short notice due to military orders.
All issues that I experienced were quickly resolved by staff and my neighbors were really friendly too. Words cannot explain how much I loved staying here.
If I could ever come back to San Antonio this would be the first place I'd come to for an apartment.

By far the BEST place to live. A good friend of mine highly recommended La Calera. Everyone has been so nice and helpful. The gals in the office are awesome! The level of customer service that I have received so far has been excellent. The maintenance man is also very skilled & friendly. In all my years of apartment renting, La Calera has definitely exceeded all my expectations. My neighbors are quiet and seem friendly. I love my apartment and the fact that my washer & dryer connections are inside rather than outside (very convenient). Not to mention a great location! The pool always looks crystal blue clear surrounded by beautiful palm trees.Reminds me of living back in Palm Springs-2 thumbs up!!!!!!!

Spent all of 5min in the office being talked OUT of renting. I felt rushed out, unwelcome, and profiled. Yes, I'm black. It feels like thats why the lady with ridiculously drawn on eyebrows blew me off. I was received at many apartments today, no one as cold as her and I will be sure to post this review on my pro-black social media and meet-up groups. It's hard enough without CONTINUED housing discrimination.
