If I had the option of zero stars that's what this place would get don't live here cause if your water heater leaks the fixed the maintenance issue but didn't replace the carpet which had a very moldy smell and then come time that my lease was up according to there corporate office I owe 410 dollars due to the maintenance issue that's not my fault that caused the damage so hopefully this review will let future tenants know that there management and communication for these kind of situations are not looked at or taken into affect with absolutely no transparency that is all.

Lived here for 6 months Bobby is a great person he will inform you everything from the start and work with you. It is an outdated apartment so expect to see a Lot of old cabinets, squeaky doors and creaking floors. If you hate cockroaches no worries here the entire time I lived here there were none spotted inside. It is really quiet and the location is great which is why I miss living here. The reason I give it 4 star is because there is always a call for maintenance for leaks in the bathroom and closet, oh and the last month I lived here the water shuts off from time to time but will eventually come back on. It is very safe it is gated which they give you a card to scan and remote. Pretty good place for my first apartment.

Lived here for 3 years with no trouble. Office staff was friendly and easy to chat with. Maintenance concerns were addressed reasonably quickly. Location is great. The entry gates broke down frequently which was a bit of an annoyance, but nothing unbearable.

Horrible maintenance, dirty grounds, and management lies and fights among themselves. They seam to have lots of issues with leaking bathtubs. Mine and 3 other tenants in just two buildings had major problems with water leaks and damage. We all had the same experiences with maintenance, "caulk". They caulked my tub 6 times, grouted once and eventually ripped out the walls and re-tiled. The tile guy worked all day , with the air on and the door open, left grout and dust everywhere. The office's response to my complaint about the dirt and power bill was that "he was a contractor so they have no responsibility but they wouldn't use him again". All the water damaged the floor and once my lease was up I moved and they then deducted money from my deposit claiming that my 14lb dog had damaged the floor. BULL!There was a water outside my unit and the sidewalk at the base of my stairs was under water for weeks. Their solution was to pile rocks around the sidewalk and dig a ditch that basically created a muddy pond with mounds of dirt thrown all around. The balcony is sagging about 6" from the door to the railing and the arbor has literally pulled away from the building 3" and is basically floating in midair. The response to this was "they didn't have money in the budget for that". I have now received a power bill for the week after I had vacated. My typical bill for a month was $120 or less, but for 6 days after I had left with everything off and the thermostat adjusted to 80 now I have a bill for $108. I called and was told the manager will take care of it. Nope! She hides in her office and they lie for her. They simply do not care at all about the tenants, only about the bottom line. They will tell you whatever you want to hear then disappear. If you want an old , run down, dirty slum with water problems and lying half assed maintenance and management you've found your place! This is completely true and I could add much more but you should get the picture

Beware...classic bait and switch practices. 07/07/17 - Found what seemed like a nice, affordable apartment. Filled out the application, paid deposits, provided positive rental history, income verification and had a co-signer if needed - BOBBY said it was no problem at all. The staff all seemed so nice and genuine. I was given a move-in date of 08/25/17. I gave my current apartment community notice that I would be moving out. But then on 07/20/17 I noticed part (not all) of the security deposit had been refunded to my credit card and so called to ask why. Nobody seemed to know - asked for a call back which I didn't get. 07/23/17 - made a specific trip to the rental office to find out what was happening and was told the apartment I filled out the application for and paid deposits for had been rented to someone else who already moved in. No one called or tried to reach me in spite of having THREE phone numbers where I could be reached and an valid email address on file with them. I have call history do all three of the phone numbers they were given as proof that NO ONE tried to contact me or my parents. RACHELLE then offered an alternative apartment that was in a far less desirable location in the community...ground floor, parking lot on 3 sides of the building, and a chain link fence for a view instead of the second floor, view of the woods I was shown, filled out the application for, and was told was mine as of 08/25. When I explained that wasn't anything close the apartment I selected they offered another, more expensive unit in that section. Disgusting tactics and lies. I will be filing a complaint with the Texas Apartment Association.

Pretty Good Place! We'd like to give an outstanding review on behalf of their current maintenance manager; Roman! If we have issues, all we have to do is report it to the office, and as soon as he's aware of the problem, he remedies it. IMMEDIATELY! In the office, Bobbie and the office staff are very accommodating, friendly, and outgoing. Overall; somewhat economical (depending on which floor level you choose to live on and your geographical preference), nice size floor plans, and, for the most part, a quiet and safe place to live.

This has truly been the best apartment complex I've ever lived in. The staff has always been courteous and professional. Melissa is a God-sent. Matience is very efficient. The pools were always clean when I went and the neighborhood is quiet. The only reason I am moving is to be closer downtown, other than that, I would never move. 7/2016-7/2017

I have lived at two different apartments at this complex for over 7 years and I am very happy here. I was shocked to read the review by a person who said these apartments are outdated and frankly almost feeling insulated! The apartments I have lived in have been updated and so have the apartments two of my friends and even one co-worker lived in. I am not sure if this person doesn't realize this either, but I see the trash trucks here 2 to 3 times a week and only on holidays did I notice anything overflowing anywhere. I normally don't leave reviews but I can't sit here and let that person lie to people, just because he damaged something and has to pay for it. Why did he live there so long, if he hated it??? Just a thought!

If I could add more stars to this review I would. I am so happy that I found Altamonte Apartments. First of all the property is very pretty. There are so many trees and the grounds are well maintained. I never see any trash or dog feces on the ground. The Laundry room is always clean and they actually have AC in there too! They are very pet friendly as well. If you have a maintenance issue they come right away and the maintenance men are honest and trustworthy. They work hard to make this community look great and work great. I can't say enough good things about the staff at the front office. Debbie, Bobby, and Margaret are all so nice and professional! The fact that they have so many residents and still remember my name makes me feel great. They really do care about their job and always seem happy to be there. If you are looking for a place I would refer any friend or family member here. If you give this place a bad rating there is something wrong with you. Go and rent an apartment today!
