One of the best bangs for your buck when it comes to apts in South Huntsville. Rented with SIMI for 3 years and their customer service, service call response, employees are all excellent. The Property Manger is fantastic. Bus stops galore if you need transportation. The are does have occasional loud arguments and trash around the grounds...it is a lower rent area so there is always a trade off. So because that sort of thing is expected in an area like this, it still gets 5 stars. If this was a rizty place and had those sorts of issues then......probabaly a lower rating.

We have lived here for almost 6 months and we have had a problem with roaches the first day we moved in. We have contacted maintanence 3 times since then. They came in and sprayed few days after we moved in but we've still have roaches everywhere. And the other times we have contacted i wasn't here to explain the situation to maintenance but we still have roaches everywhere unfortunately. And it's disgusting.

This was my first apartment ever .. stayed there about a year until my lease was up thought about breaking my lease a few times thats just how horrible they are when I moved in my first issue was my thermostat was not working so I called it in it took maintenance almost a month to fix ... strike 1 I had no problem for a few months other than hearing gun shots all the time which sounded like it was right outside of my bedroom window I call the cops and they didnt even show up I asked if they can come a check the area and asked if they could pull in my complex and blow the horn or sirens so that I knew it was safe to come outside for work it was about 2am not managements fault Then when winter came i had a mouse problem a bad one ... before the winter even came i asked if they could come seal up the doors so i wouldnt have this problem they didnt come i walked into my unit and Im being so serious there was about 6-7 mice running around in my living room luckily my friend was staying over and he handled that the next morning i called complaining and the people in the office didnt sound as if they was taking me serious over the phone I had to go to the office and request that pest control come out as well as maintenance to seal my doors .... and after that no more pest problem if they would have came when i put the maintenance order in we wouldnt have had that problem Lastly so In my rental agreement which i read in detail it said i couldnt have someone staying with me who wasnt on the lease which is understandable but it didnt say i couldnt have visters okay so my uncle was visiting from out of state and stayed down here for about a months And i let him crash with me and the front office was aware of this i asked my uncle to drop my rent off at the front office and the head lady Im guessing the office manager asked for his id and his Proof of residence of course he refused to give it to her and tried to explain that he was only bringing the rent money up there for a resident and she went as far as to threaten him by saying if she see him at my apartment she would call the cops it got to the point she would have a worker actually sit in the complex and watch my apartment i know this because sometimes i would do things just to see if it would get back to her my uncle stayed there a total of 2 and a half weeks and i was very upset about how my guess was treated while visiting

They just recently refactored the whole property under Circle Property. Not much has changed since then, for good or bad. No real improvement since I moved in last year. The rent was increased by about $75 and we were asked to pay another $75 for a shorter lease, for whatever reason. Paying them has been a giant pain in the ass. Apparently, if you're ever late on the rent, you lose the "privilege" to make online payments. It's been a huge struggle to get them to let me use my debit card to make payments. They'd much rather have a money order, even though it's difficult for me to get to anywhere that sells them after I get off of work. Maintenance has actually been pretty decent, the only problems I've had they fixed pretty quickly. They never call me if they need in my apartment, which is kind of annoying, but well within their rights. The neighborhood is not great. My neighbors are mostly quiet and okay but we hear gunshots about once a month. I told the manager and she was absolutely shocked to hear this, either she's lying or completely out of touch with her tenants. She said they have an on-site police officer but still asked me to call 911 when this happens. I don't think she's telling me the truth. They've been mercifully patient when it comes to paying the rent, but it's a bit odd to tell me you're charging me a late fee when I've got the money and you just won't let me pay the damn thing online. Also, my neighbors smoke weed all the time and it makes me hungry enough to destroy a box of cereal in one sitting. Management doesn't seem to care about it and the cops just kinda don't come around anymore unless prompted. I wanted to like living here, but management just made things such a hassle. It feels like the owners just treat it like a turn-key operation and never actually do anything about any of our problems.

I would give zero stars if I was able to. This place is absolutely terrible. I have lived here for 6 months now, and the whole time I have had to deal with an extremely abusive relationship living underneath me. They fight at LEAST three times a week, on a good week.The fighting is so intense that many times I have questioned if he had killed his girlfriend. It has been reported to the office numerous times by us and other tenants in our building. The manager told us that we needed to start reporting it to the police for anything to happen. A couple of days before we left for spring break the fighting got really bad, and the girl cried out, "Call the police!!" So we did what any person should do and called the police. This time we put our names on the police report and the police told him that we had called. Well, during spring break my boyfriend and I went out of town for two days. When we came back his car was vandalized all over. There is profanity and slurs keyed all into his car. We knew immediately that the neighbor had done it(he will no longer park in our apartment building parking lot because he is scared, but we noticed his car immediately in a different apartment parking lot). So we went to the office, and they got us to write a statement. We have asked for the tenants below us name, and they won't give it to us. We waited two days after his car was vandalized for Hunters ridge to tell us that they can't do anything about it. They said they could transfer us to another apartment, but that doesn't fix the fact that a psycho would know where I lived and could continue to vandalize our vehicles. It has been almost a week and a half since it has happened, and I have not been able to sleep since. It is hard to sleep knowing someone as psychotic as him is living underneath you. I feel like I pay rent here for them to steal my sleep and feeling of security. They will not let us break our lease here even after these insane circumstances they are putting us through. If you are still considering to move here after reading this, I would invest in a good security system and cameras because Hunter's Ridge has zero security, and will do nothing to help your situation.

Beautiful property the area my family and i reside currently so peaceful and quiet but the property manager. Doesnt believe in communication any work orders put in there is never a 24 hour notice. Seems to be very easily aggiated and makes it very well known. Wouldnt recommend for families with small children. The property manager just does not to seem to be organized meaning work orders are never done in a timely fashion leading us to think its maitence at fault. And doesnt know how to professionally communicate. Despite this when problems are being handled maintence is always very pleasent and does a very great job at keeping up the property. I just wish they had a better more professonal property manager.
