This property is great! The staff works so hard to make everyone happy knowing they will never be able to please everyone. The maintenance team works hard to keep up on service request and the office staff work hard to keep residents happy.

I have lived here for 16 months now and have had nothing but a positive experience! Any problems I have had get fixed in a timely manner. Staff is professional and friendly! Kristin, Evanne, and Chane have always gone above and beyond and I appreciate everything that they do!

Everyone has made my move-in experience one for the books! Everyone is always so friendly and cheerful. I love the pool area, the gym, and they even have free fitness classes that are just wonderful! I definitely recommend The Covington to anyone looking for a new home

After living here and working here previously, I found that I really enjoyed the sense of community. My dog has friends that he knows and sees daily because of the dog park. I know my neighbors and whats going on in their lives as a result of this as well. Ive never lived at an apartment community that has a sense of a neighborhood before now. Service requests are handled usually same day. The grounds are lush. Rent is reasonable for Denver. I think if anyone likes a community feel, they should come live here.

Loved this community!! I was unable to move in at the time that I toured, but plan on moving there as soon as my lease expires at my current apartment complex. I toured with a young lady named Kristen. I specifically remember her because she was the most professional agent that I toured with out of the 20 plus apartments I viewed. The grounds were beautiful, pool was lovely, and apartments were sleek and fully renovated. Highly recommend this property! I cannot wait to become a resident here soon

The apartment complex is in a great central location for the Denver area and it is also close to the light rail, which is just a few miles down the street. The maintenance staff and the office staff are very polite and quick to help. They are the best I've had in an apartment complex in quite a long time. The maintenance staff are excellent in my opinion. I have never had an issue with any office staff either as they have been excellent as well. They are all great people in my opinion. I would give the facility a 5-star review if not for one problem. The only negative issue, and it is a big one, is with the pool and most particularly, the hot tub next to the leasing office. So far this year (and it is only May) we have had to call 1-3 times almost every night to get the patrol officers to kick people out of the pool area. Otherwise, they will stay in there until 1-2 am. We even had people blasting music at 4 am on a Wednesday with absolutely no regard for others that have to get up for work. It is ridiculous. I would recommend a time lock on the gates and doors leading to the pool area (pool hours are from 10am-10pm). I could not recommend the facility to anyone, IF they are within hearing distance of the pool area. If you are not in hearing distance of either of the pools it is a GREAT facility! The maintenance and office staff are awesome! The patrol company is very responsive as well and does a solid job of responding although it occasionally takes them up to an hour. Mostly they are there within 15-20 minutes which is great. They are very professional. The apartments are very nice, quiet, and modernized; and the maintenance staff keeps them up very well in my experience. If you are moving here do not take an apartment near either pool area (there are two) and you will really enjoy the place. It is just very tiresome to have to call each night and it does not make for a relaxing environment when that is the case.

Wrote a 2 star review several months back but came to update it. I really appreciate a lot of the work they have done. Management is always super friendly. The trash and dog poop is not terrible anymore. Crime seems to have gone down.

The people who work here are all very nice. However, the companys focus is in the wrong direction. Youve got tenants leaving their dog waste, loud parties past midnight on weekdays, and constant relations with the police. Despite these issues, their focus is to ban cigarettes from their complex. Ignoring current problems and looking for new ones... good job, very American. 5/5 for staying true to the American spirit

I have lived here for a couple months and it is by far the best complex I have ever lived at!! Kristin, Sophia, Evanne, Lisa, and Chane are all so friendly, and always very helpful! Location is very central, dog park is huge, pool is open all year, and the maintenance is the best team I have experienced in years. They always get your work order done within 24 hours. I could not ask for a better place to call home.

We have lived at Covington for about six months now and we have had an amazing experience! The grounds are well kept, the apartments are nice and updated, as well as reasonably priced. The big pool by the leasing office is awesome (I haven't been to the second pool) and open year round, the gym is a bit small but very well kept and very new. Most importantly, the service here is amazing! Lisa, Sophia, Evanne, Kristin, Chane, and Dustin are all SO so kind and helpful (sorry if I'm forgetting someone or misspelling names!). I have never had such wonderful people running the office at any of the apartments I've ever lived in, and that's by a long shot. It's a really wonderful community and I would highly suggest looking into living here.

Ive been living in my apartment for about a month now, and I absolutely love everything about it. Parking can suck after 8pm, and people like to not pick up after their animals. Besides that it is quiet and clean. Chane and the rest of the staff seem to be on top of any issues Ive run into. I am on the first floor and barely hear anyone above me. The apartments are beautiful inside and I enjoy being home.

After checking out several apartments in the area I decided to lease at The Covington. The staff and facilities are great, from day one it has felt like home. Thank you Chane, Sophia, and Lisa for making me feel so welcome. I couldn't be happier with my new home.

Very solid complex with close proximity to the creek / bike trail, as well as basic needs shopping. Updated : lived here 2015-2017 It was a beautiful time, we had our moments but after circumstances beyond my control forced me to move out, and these people had every reason to let it be the management But more importantly Taylor Ann Evangelista saved us. She was the most wonderful friend and advisor we could ever ask for in our most terrifying moments. She really came through every single time. She deserves the world. The complex is very dreamy, (good layout) the office is a ikea book put to life, the renovated units are spacious and clean. This was my first complex and I loved it. Pet friendly. Family recommended. Close to Sonic, Biglots, rental car, carwash, fuel etc. Great starter home, plenty quiet, Secure Pools and hotub. NO PESTS!!! I updated this review because of how hard people worked here to help after the unthinkable happened. That kind of service, escapes the words.

I lived here for a year and they were really nice Apartments and I never had a problem with any of the neighbors. The staff was ok. Hopefully they bought in new people who are friendlier. Me and my brother would pay late intentionally sometimes because of our pay schedule and they would come the next day with an eviction notice on the door even though we told them we would pay late and pay the fee. Location wasn't ideal and prices sky rocketed so I left since my job was further away. Overall a nice place to live but there was a shooting after I moved out so that's going to deter a lot of people. Hopefully that doesn't happen anymore because I've never even seen an argument in my time there. Also the parking is truly ridiculous. If they gave everyone one parking spot that would be better. It is so annoying to have no parking when other people keep cars that don't work holding up parking spots.

Moved here from out-of-state because the property *appeared* clean, the staff was friendly, and mostly I didn't know what I was getting myself into. Living at the Covington you will quickly discover that this is NOT in Cherry Creek, but borders rough neighborhoods. This is reflected in the amount of stray and undesirable people just strolling through the parking lots at ALL times! Being a single female, I am concerned to even take my dog out at night or to leave my blinds open anymore. Some of the employees in the clubhouse actually agreed with me, it's sad. A small part of the Cherry Creek trail happens to run along the apartments and they coined the name "Cherry Creek" because of how affluent the actual Cherry Creek area is. In fact, once you live here for a month you will find that the property is riddled with crime and theft. I have been here for half of my lease and will almost always find trash strewn in every corridor, dog poop all over the grass, plates and trash bags, and a HUGE lack of security. It is normal to see police getting called to tenants apartments over domestic disturbances weekly. The clubhouse staff will hire teams to quickly tow a car if it has expired tags, but will not implement security to handle the amount of mailbox break-ins, the amount of cars stolen, and the amount of extremely sketchy people all hours of the night. The parking situation has quickly gone downhill, too. You're lucky to find a parking spot past 7PM nowadays. For the price you pay, it is NOT worth risking your safety. The complex is not gated, has no cameras, and criminals have known this and have taken advantage of this from the day I moved in.

Fantastic! The community, apartments and amenities are wonderful. Certainly an upgrade from prior experiences in renting. The staff has been wonderful. The community seems great, a good mix of young, old, family, and singles. I absolutely love my new apartment! The upgrades are some of the best I've seen. I must have looked at over 30 other places before choosing The Covington on Cherry Creek. I feel at home already!

Overall this place isn't bad but they need some more experience in the office. Most of the people the are staffed here are very young and seem to lack basic knowledge of the property and lease agreements. When I call to ask questions I almost always get answers like "I am not sure" "let me check" or "I will have to get back to you on that". I am not sure if it is because they are new or it is because they just don't know what they are talking about but if I had to use a couple words to describe the staff it would not be experienced or knowledgeable. Also if you move here expect some unexpected things, for one your "rent" is one thing but the activation fee, storm water fee, common electric fee, pest control fee, water fee, trash fee, and billing fee are all things I was lead to believe was covered in my rent which is added on top. They sneak in extra fees without telling you, to be fair it is in the lease but when I asked an inexperienced staff member when I was moving in if water was covered in rent they told me it was and it is not. Also if you care to turn on the lights, have internet, and a dog you can expect to add another $200-300 a month on top of rent and all the BS fees. This month they also are resurfacing the parking lot and have delayed and rescheduled this multiple times cause residents to get their cars towed on an increasingly confusing schedule as the staff scrambles to figure out what is going on, I called about 10 minutes before they were going to start towing to ask if they were resurfacing or rescheduling the other day and the girl on the other end of the phone had absolutely no idea what she was talking about. This place is nice but they need better educated staff and organization. Their lack of experience shows everyday when you have basic requests.

It's a best apartments ever the staff is very friendly and extremely helpful of making the difficult process of moving easy and enjoyable. On top of that my apartment is beautiful and the pools are relaxing. And if this apartment couldn't get any better the office staff are gorgeous I don't think I will move anywhere else for a long time...

I Was pretty happy with this place the last year and a half we've almost lived here. But, NOT anymore. Not only are we paying an outrageous amount for most of the amenties to be out or not being able to be Used for months, renovated pool took over 6 months to do and then you had the other pool closed at the same time on some of the hottest days of the summer . Now, the appliances either don't work or just plain suck. And You All Refuse to Replace Them. It Seems we're calling maintenance out every couple of weeks to once a month anymore to "fix" said issues. For what We Pay we Expected A lot more.

I have lived in this complex for almost 5 years now. This new property management is not the easiest to work with or helpful in any way. We have had added charges of Renters Insurance added to our lease without notice. And when we brought it to there attention and proved we have had Renters insurance the entire time they refused to reimburse us what we paid. We are being forced out of our apartment just so they can do upgrades. With this move they still continued to charge us for Renters Insurance. The office staff has stated incorrect information to us with no explanation as to it or how to fix it when we ask again. Now there are doing preferred parking for an outrageous amount of $35.00 a space, a garage space is already $100.00. So now use that can't afford to pay the additional fee will have to park further. The main pool has been closed all summer. What are really the benefits of living here? There is water damage on our ceiling from the upstairs flooding and we were told oh it's ok just live with it. Now we have to move at our expense when we had no intention of moving this year.

My husband and I have been here a year and have been so happy living at the Covington. The complex is beautiful, clean, it has some of the best amenities we've seen and the apartments are so spacious. They also have some of the best floor plans and are even better with the new renovations. Maintenance is responsive, professional and friendly and they respond to issues within hours (at least that's been our experience). And the office staff is incredible. Our go to person is Taylor Ann, who is amazing, always friendly, welcomes you with a smile and is super accommodating.

EDIT: Two years later in 2017...unfortunately things have gone downhill over the past six months. They're upgrading the community area and apartments, but the whole process is very poorly managed. The pool area has been closed for essentially a year (should have only been a few months) and there is ongoing construction (which is pretty loud). Lastly, we've had many A/C issues and that's one of the things they're not upgrading. changing from 5 starts to 3. Previous review from 2015** I've been living in apartments for 7 years in multiple states/cities. You will never have a perfect apartment experience because you're surrounded by PEOPLE, and they will always have the ability to make things difficult. I gave my 5 star score with that in mind. With that said, I've been very happy with how The Covington responds to any issues. We had an issue with smoke from a neighbor - management quickly handled it and the issues has been fixed. There was a dog barking after-hours, we called the hotline and they managed to get the dog to stop barking (not sure how they pulled this one off - the owner's weren't home). Beyond that, the price is reasonable for rent and if anything breaks in the apt. they'll fix it right away. Also, our neighbors have been really quiet, which is nice.

Moved in a week ago, my opinions: - Price: Price is inline with the market and surrounding complexes. Anyone bitching about apartment prices in Denver currently is blind to the economy and the % of vacancies. Its also been all over the news so educate yourself to the reality of the apartment market. Supply and demand..read about it. - Front Office: Daniel was great helping me with the paperwork and all that jazz, all the front office folk seem great. I haven't had any reason to contact them or repairs so I couldn't comment on that. - Gym: 24/7 access, looks good. Clean and people use it.. plan to start myself this next week after the moving soreness goes away. Has 2 pools and the main area by the leasing office has a hottub.. looks kid friendly. - Grounds: Looks great, pools like good.. haven't walked the complex to see the other areas. No broken down cars (that are obvious) or complete junkers causing problems that I've seen. - Parking: There are 16 buildings in this complex and at mine if you get home late you wont get a front spot. That being said I'm able to park a few down from that with no problem. I cant speak for the other buildings but I'd assume its similar as mine as it seems full renter wise. - Noise: no big problems yet. You have your occasional noisy people during the day but the evenings have been nice and quiet. There are a few dogs that people leave on the balcony or home alone during the day that bark so if that gets annoying I'll report it. - I didn't rate it 5 stars because honestly I'm just acclimating to living in apartments and I think i could have gotten a better place for little more. But with the lack of vacancies and my short move time the Covington will work fine for me for the price.

The people in the front office do change but it's because they are moving up in their careers. Every new person that is placed in the office is always nice and helpful. Maintenance is done in a timely matter. Maintenance people are very nice. The landscape is nice, the apartments are nice inside...... I have 2 issues with these apartments after living here for 7 months.....1.) Parking- No assigned parking spot. If you get home late you're lucky if you can get a space. You might have to park in the street or pay about an extra $100 month for a detached garage.......2.) Upstairs neighbors- Seem to have 3-4 people living in the apartment. They pound my ceiling everyday. They walk very hard, they are constantly dropping stuff on my ceiling, they seem to be jumping from the couch/bed to the floor and they do this throughout the day and night. Most of the time it is done 9pm-7am while I am sleeping...Update: It has been a year now and noise has gotten a lot better. No roaches, no bed bugs only a few spiders. The only reason I have to move is the price.
