WORST EXPERIENCE TO SAY THE LEAST. The current leasing office staff is rude, unprofessional, VERY discriminating and VERY METICULOUS. I have enough respect not to name identity's. However, PLEASE BE AWARE if you are interested in one of their units, not only will they have you take the proper steps to reserve the apartment, pay the holding fee's, and lastly claim the apartment but they will still show the reserved apartment around TO OTHER FUTURE RESIDENTS as if you never did these things. They will not refund you any reserved holding fee's or applications fee's if no longer interested, given the situation why would we. In addition, if you are an employee of one of their preferred employers that they partner with, if you do not meet THEIR CRITERIA of a "GREAT CREDIT SCORE", even though you are an active employee you will be neither FULLY or PARTIALLY compensated for any application fee's. Furthermore, they were indeed attempting to CHARGE US 3 MONTHS RENT IN ADVANCED. Be mindful that the unit we were interested in was $1,500 MONTHLY and we grossed more then 3x's this specific unit's MONTHLY rent. ANY OTHER apartments in OHIO that we have ever came in contact with said AT MOST THEY CAN ONLY CHARGE A FULL FIRST MONTH'S RENT. Lastly, I got into contact with their affiliate apartments managed by T&R properties AS WELL in Dublin, OH-called (The Residents) and they quoted "we would have to refund you the application fee's or reservation fee's if denied or no longer interested" given the circumstances OF COURSE. Please be aware people what you are getting yourself into before applying. Escalating this matter into the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Ok I have lived here since September (16) and what I have noticed is 1. The Office (both K/S) Ive had positive interactions whether via email, phone, or just walking into the office to swipe a cookie (usually reserved for the guests ). 2. The maintenance crew while delays sometimes do occur (i.e., high demand items/materials may be backordered), once the materials are in hand they from what I have experienced get to it and complete the job in what I consider a timely fashion. For me, they have only been professional and courteous. 3. THE neighbors I have not had an issue with noise, intrusiveness, or being creeped out. Pleasant conversations, responsible dog-owners (i.e., picking up after), and nice setting (the photo as this is what we see from our patio) make it a home for us. Would I recommend TL? Yes it has been a good stay for us.

Not a bad place to live in general. However, their apartments aren't worth what you pay for. For example, in the summer our air broke when it was 90+ out. It took them over a week to fix it and they argued that the time frame was reasonable.

Worst Apartment Experience Ever Staff: The front office staff will give you a fake smile and tell you about their ridiculous policies with a discourteous tone of voice. It seemed like there was a new worker there every few months. We received no notice before a utility company began digging right out front of our door blocking our sidewalk. Repairs: Our hot water went off three times during the first three months. The third time happened on a Friday. The maintenance staff told us he wasn't sure what was wrong, but thought he may have fixed it. He told me (on a Friday) that if it still wasn't working to call them on Monday. He wanted us to wait all weekend without hot water and call on Monday. When I called the front office, they offered to let us use the model apartment's shower. They put in a new hot water heater on Monday. Buildings: This is the only good part about Tiffany Lakes. The buildings are nice. They apartment layouts are spacious. The pool was small, and usually packed with kids. Neighbors: Sure, there are some nice people living there. Quite a few people have dogs. We had the luck of having 8 people and 3 kids living in the two bedroom apartment above us. They took up too many parking spots. There were other people constantly coming and going. We could hear everything, even when their phone was on vibrate. We issued several noise complaints to the front office, all of which were ignored. They didn't seem to care that there were so many people living in the apartment. Parking: One of the reasons we looked at TL was because they have garages. The front office staff said that they didn't have one available, but that there would be ones becoming available soon. They added our names to a waiting list, assuring us that we would have one in a few months. One year later, we still hadn't gotten that garage. The roads really need to be repaved. There are numerous potholes. There are speed bumps that are falling apart, but the ones that are in tact are way too tall. You bottom out your car even driving at 2 mph over them. They were bad about clearing snow. I think they only had the road plowed once last winter. It seemed like our lot was always packed. It was probably because of the overcrowded apartments. Time To Leave: We decided all of these factors made us not want to live here after only 3 months. So we figured they would have a policy to get out of the lease early. All of the other place we have lived you could pay 2 months rent and be out. At TL, No options at all. You cannot get out of a lease. When you do come to the end of the lease term, be aware of the hidden fees. You HAVE to have the carpets PROFESSIONALLY cleaned before you leave. This is something apartment places have to do anyway before they can lease the apartment again. But unlike at most apartment complexes, you have to pay for it at Tiffany Lakes. PLEASE listen to all of the negative reviews that are posted. I read them too before I moved in, but didn't want to believe them because of the nice apartment layouts. Don't believe the glowing reviews, it's probably just the office staff writing it themselves. It is NOT worth it.
