Just like majority of the reviews I'm eating providence court apr. a 1. Office staff has a couple nice customer oriented workers like Rkbin and the young girl. But Kaitlyn is not very customer oriented. She is very rude. She has a no it all attitude and many of the residents complain about her. The maintenance staff is nice and helpful. They do what is allowed though they'd like to do more. They would get yelled at if they do. For the money this place charges they need to tend to their clients and treat us with respect. I would say go elsewhere. Don't waste your money on an apartment here. You will be very unhappy. The units are out of date and the gym is standard but substandard when compared to other complexes. I didn't have heat for 3 weeks and while great customer service would be to go above and beyond to satisfy me. The lack of effort from the office was disappointing. No one offered a hearing unit and the temps have been in the 30s. No gift card to say sorry. My unit needed replaced well minus the weekend it took 4 days to order. Then another week before put in. Then the whole unit inside needed replaced. I believe in going above and beyond to satisfy client. I'm a broker and the customer service was horrible. I want out of my lease 3 weeks early. I have another place lined up. This place is a RIP off Do not come here. Disappointing and dissatisfied .

BUGS BUGS BUGS!!!!!! These apartments are literally the worst apartments that I have ever lived in. Please do not make the mistake of moving into this property. The management does NOTHING to help their residents, constantly told we are working on it, we will have an answer in a few days and they never have an answer to ANY problems. This apartment has been nonstop issues since moving in. The doors don't close all of the way, there are bugs EVERYWHERE!!!!!! I was told it was a quiet neighborhood and it is LOUD ALL OF THE TIME, neighbors can be heard all hours of the day and night and NOTHING is done about it! The walls are paper thin and you can literally hear everything! Not to mention the smells of strong spice cooking leaking through the walls every night. It doesn't matter how many times you complain about noises or bugs, nothing is done. I could go on and on, stolen mail from the mail boxes, trash isn't picked up it just piles up EVERYWHERE, our neighbors have leaks from their neighbors unit, people parking everywhere, kids from the high school all over the property, in the summer it's loud as can be from the football games, if you live on the side of the school it's super loud with the buses every AM and afternoon. It's just a disaster. The biggest issues for us and our family with children is the noise from the neighbors and the massive amount of bugs EVERYWHERE. Water bugs, roaches, ants, SO MANY SPIDERS and CENTIPEDES EVERYWHERE. Every time I walk they run by, don't even think of going in the bathroom at night, it ALWAYS has them in it. I am just sickened. Avoid this place!!! They are not worth the money that you pay for them.

Zero stars if I could! I am not one to complain or write bad reviews but today I had the worst experience with one of the staff members who actually claimed she was an assistant manager too! This made me even more upset because the assistant manager was talking to me with such disrespect. My sister in law lives in this complex and every time she has brought me to the pool or gym we have been treated with such disrespect. It is one thing to nicely tell someone to turn their music off and put headphones in or keep glass away from the pool, but every time I have been talked to with the rudest tone. I kindly asked for Caitlyn,the assistant manager, to respectfully speak to me and she replied with do not threaten me. I am so appalled she thought I would threaten her when I simply felt as if I was being treated disrespectfully. The staff members need to work on how they speak to their residents and guests because no one should ever have to feel this way! Even though I dont live here, I was with someone who does and Caitlyn still continued to yell at us get out now! I have been coming here for about a year with my sister in law and I am so taken back that the staff hasnt improved their manners! My car had a flat last year and I simply left it parked in a visitors parking spot because it was after 8 oclock and the tire place wasnt open. The staff proceeded to yell at me to get my car out of there within the next hour. The staff actually made me cry. All I ask if for the staff to simply work on the way they speak to the residents and guests because there are much better ways to handle things then demanding someone to get out. I do not recommend living here!!!!!! Go check out Legacy across the street! They make you feel welcome and at home.

0 STARS IF I COULD. This place is horrible. I don't know what i was thinking moving into here. I'm usually optimistic, but this place is just borderline disgusting. You never run out of things to complain about when you live here. There's always something wrong with any appliance at any given time. Whenever I call the office to come fix it, by the time they respond (longest they ever took to come look at microwave was 6 months) I either buy a new one or they show up way too late to fix it. This place is a pathetic excuse for an apartment complex. All the office employees certainly don't give a damn about how everyone lives here. They put on their fake smiles and just repeat "How may I help you?" and "I'm sorry, that's out of my range. I can't do that". All of them have horrible attitudes. They recently tore the playground out of the neighborhood. Whenever they see my son playing in the streets with his friends (which are actually a safe place to play) they yell at him to not play on the streets, behind a building, on the grass, at the recycling center, or ANYWHERE, and their pathetic excuse is (get ready to lose brain cells): "This isn't a playground!". I'm sorry. but last time I checked, you REMOVED the playground! They always show up with a smug, emotionless face, gripping their portable radios and talk with a monotone voice. I hate the neighbor situation also. The elephants above us have parties until 4 am and shake the ceiling as if they have a jackhammer factory up there. And whenever they take baths, they apparently never care to clean up the gallons of water they spill, because every week or so we have water running out of our bathroom ceiling fan. We have complained to the office numerous times and they promised us the upstairs neighbors would be evicted first week of January 2018. The month is over now and they still have parties and make horrible noises. Tracy (the so-called "manager") is a horrible liar. She claims that they're "working on it" (same old excuse she uses for everything). And don't get me started on the neighborhood resources. Two words: IT SUCKS. The gym never gets any broken exercise machines replaced (treadmills have been down for 3 months and counting), the pools are never tended to and are full to the brim with chlorine, we aren't allowed to use the charcoal grills, the gas grills never have propane in them (and apparently are replaced every couple of years, as the dates on the canisters say), the tennis court's net ripped and is left lying there for weeks, there is always a replica of Mt. Everest made out of trash bags at the dump (which they collect at the end of every month, not good for a complex of about 500 people), and the high school kids from right next door (only good thing about here is the high school is literally right next to our neighborhood) always come here and find a corner to go smoke weed. It's a horrifying place to live. Take my advice, PLEASE do not waste your valuable time and money living here. Unlike their motto, this is the place "Where not-so-good neighbors live".

I've lived here now for about 4 months, and Iove it. MAINTENANCE: I've made 4 service requests: a bulb broke and got stuck in a light fixture, a toilet began slightly leaking, a dryer connection made my dryer too hot, and a ceiling fan in the bedroom was wobbling. The fan service call took two days, but the other three were addressed same-day, and the service guys were great. BUGS: I've noticed 4 roaches so far, but always in the bathroom, which means they came up through the pipes. Each time I've had the exterminator out. They came within a few days, and were super friendly. There are, however, TONS of stink bugs in the trees next to the complex, so watch out for those! (That probably sounds worse than it actually is... they don't actually stink. I just got a shock one day when I found about 20 of them in a wicker basket on my patio. Eek.) The exterminator did spray my patio, but he noted that there isn't much they can do to keep them out of the trees, and my patio backs right up to a lot of them. There's a pretty walking trail in the complex, but unfortunately, it has TONS of mosquitos at mosquito season, due to the pond at the end of it. My kids and I walked it a couple times in Sept, but after literally finding swarms of mosquitos, we decided to wait until the weather got cooler. (It's December now and the trail is awesome.) GROUNDS: The grounds are kept lovely and clean... the trash compactor and recycle bin area do get overwhelmed sometimes, but I've seen the maintenance staff out there repeatedly cleaning it up, so it seems the complex is doing their best. I do really wish there there were a playground for the kids! LOCATION/TRAFFIC: The location is fantastic, close to tons of shopping on Providence and to Matthews downtown, although the traffic on 51 can be dicey at rush hour times. There's a little hiccup with the entrance/exit to the apt. complex, since you can only turn right on 51. This means that if you come often from Providence, like I do, you'll need to u-turn to get into the complex every time you want to come home... but as long as it's not 7:00am or 2:15pm (Providence High School's peak times), the u-turn is no big deal. I have a teenager who goes to Providence HS, and he absolutely loves being able to walk to school in 2 minutes. NOISE: On Friday nights during high school football season you can hear the games from Providence High School clear as a bell. I actually kind of like the sound of sports announcers and cheering fans, so that's a selling point for me! But just be aware of that, especially if you're on the side of the complex facing the school. I've only had neighbor-noise issues once, with an (apparently very upset) neighbor yelling at midnight... but mostly, it's nice and quiet. Granted, I'm on the top floor, but I've made sure to introduce myself to my downstairs neighbors, just in case I ever cause noise issues for them, and they've told me they've had no issues. (whew!) APARTMENT: As for the apartment itself, I really love it.

My apartment was really warm and one phone call got maintenance here for that and a toilet issue. While he was there he replaced lights in my kitchen. The layout and size of this apartment is amazing.... and having a garage is an extra treat. I do hear the neighbor above but it isn't bad, just walking sometimes... it's an apartment. Going to love it here for a long while. UPDATE: Two months in and everything I said in my post was true, but I do have an issue that has arisen. During our tour we specifically asked about the noise from apartment to apartment. We were told living on the bottom floor wouldn't be an issue because of the carpeting in the second floor apartments. We were specifically told all second floor apartments were carpet for that reason to provide a buffer. When the people above moved out and they laid a laminate floor... and the new people that moved in have a small very active child. I know that children run and play but on those floors it sounds like they are coming through. The running and jumping is awful. Even simple footsteps are magnified with that type of flooring. We can't sit and enjoy tv without blasting it so we can hear it, and I have to wear earplugs to work because it's so distracting. I have lived in a lot of apartments, first and second and even a third floor and I have NEVER had this extreme noise and squeaking like I have here. I have called the manager twice to discuss this, emailed twice and in a week got zero response from her. I don't think that is fair or appropriate for a manger to not respond to me. I still love the set up of my home and the set up of this community, but it's going to be a long 8 months until our lease is up. We had planned a few years here until we bought our home but I doubt that will happen now and it is really disappointing. I don't want to discourage anyone from renting here...the apartments are very nice and getting things fixed has been easy and they are very polite. Just don't do the bottom floor because you never know what you'll get a month after moving in and unfortunately what your told during the tour isn't always what they will do.

My lease ended in August, at the time, I was in the process of purchasing a home. The closing wasn't until October 2, so there was no need to renew my leasing agreement since I'll be moving out in two months. Because I didn't renew my leasing agreement the payments went form 890 to over 1200 for a 650 sqft. apartment. I don't understand how they can justify the price jump because I didn't renew my lease. Also, I have two dogs and had to pay a 600 fee that was nonrefundable and extra 30 dollars a month. The individual upfront told me I should receive my deposit though mail. A week later I received a bill for 180 dollars for August and September utilities (I've already paid August utilities previous month), 50 dollars for a new click (even though it never worked and I've request multiple time to fix.), 75 for cleaning the carpet (I've had the carpet and the apartment clean after I moved out), and about a dozen of little fees. Providence Court is unprofessional and possibly unethical.

The size and price is great. As well as amenities. However I have lived here for a month and a half and have had to have my apartment sprayed every Friday because of spiders, earwigs, and centipedes. The in this month I've also had two water bugs and several rolly pollys. Does the office staff care? NO!!! They tell me they are outside bugs and the occasional bug happens in an apartment. Not really sure how this many is considered occasional? I was even asked to send pictures for proof of all the bugs I was finding, which was extremely offensive why would I lie??? When I first moved in my weather strip was dragging and my door had duck tape on it. They came and took up the black piecing on the weather strip and did not fix the duck tape. So I complained and had to wait until Monday to have it fixed. When they fixed my weather strip they left so much space literally I can sit on the floor and see outside. I've sent numerous pictures and been told numerous times that it would be fixed but othong has been done about it smh. I'm very disappointed

Just know if you're not a white man or woman, they only want your money. They won't fix stuff in your apartment. They'll stay open late to "keep an eye" on me while I'm simply working out. Had a maintenance worker say I looked suspicious while pushing my daughter's stroller. Be serious!! I've even went as far ask my Indian neighbor how she's been treated, and her experience is WORSE than mine. PLEASE STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY IF YOU CARE ABOUT OTHER HUMANS BEING TREATED LIKE HUMANS.

I have lived here since June 2016 my air conditioning has broken 6 times and the office staff is terrible and rude and the fees are ridiculous and was never told about fees until I received my rent bill. The apartments are old and not maintained properly this is the worse apartment I have ever lived in and it's not worth what they are charging I am so glad I took pictures the day I moved in so they won't try to keep my deposit when I move out. STAY AWAY FROM PROVIDENCE COURT!!!!! NO STARS this complex is the WORST.

I love living here! I know I have neighbors, but I never hear them. My apartment is so pretty and has been well maintained. I love my private garage, which gives me even more storage space than the generous amount my apartment already offers. The grounds are lush and well cared for. The pools are wonderful. In my experience, the girls in the front office are super sweet and friendly and go above and beyond. Yes, you can hear Providence High foot ball games on Friday night, but so what! Living next to the school, this shouldn't be a suprise!

Be very careful about fees. I was told if I chose not to rent, I would only be out the 75.00 application fee. I was not told about the 72 hour window after application was approved to get the 200.00 adminstration fee. I was specifically told I would "only be out the 75.00" . I will never consider Providence Court Apartments again. Renting an apartment sight unseen, and only seeing the model is a new experience for me. Even asking to see the location of the actual apartment I would be leasing made me seem like I would be committing some sort of spy crime. The agent was unclear about why viewing the apartment from the street was not allowed. Be sure you get questions answered clearly, and if it is about money, ask to see the written policy before applying. I was also not told that paying the application fee and adminstration fee online would be an additional 19.95 for each transaction, as they have to be paid separately.
