The B line will take you directly to Boston College (BC) or Boston University (BU) and also into the rest of Boston. You're about 5-7 minutes walk to the C line and about 10 minutes walk to the D line at Beaconsfield. The C line takes you all through Brookline and the D line will take you directly to Longwood Medical Area, Newton, and Chestnut Hill. The C line is a good shortcut on Fridays when the B line can be a little busier.

The 51 bus will take you all the way to the commuter rail at Fores t Hills, stopping through some other parts of Boston on the way. The 86 bus will take you all through Cambridge and Somerville.

This area is fairly quiet but is just a short walk away from all the nightlife that Allston has to offer. Whole foods is about 1 minute from your door. There are plenty of great shops and restaurants right next to your house such as the Brighton Cafe, Chang's house, Headscape Gallery, and La Catrina Mexican food which is crazy good if you've never tried it.

Data provided by GreatSchools
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
