It's been an uphill battle with management changing so often and very little respect shown to Senior adults. The management in place now seems sincere in their want to make things better and somehow bridge the gap between tenants and management. The major issues with the gates and great attention to keeping the building secure has been and continues to be monitored daily. We have been a target as seniors so the security is a big stress reliever for us. Pre- pandemic as well as post pandemic was very frustrating but management has done a great job in allowing us to speak and be heard. It's not perfect and we continue to climb the hill but at least now it feels like we are climbing together helping each other heal from our past experiences. As the complex fills we are having growing pains with issues about cleanliness smoking pet care and management gently address all of these issue with patients but very clear about consequences for failure to comply. We are on our way to a five star community but we must continue to respect each other and we will all be the better for it.

My Father moved in here over a year ago and it had been nothing short of Exceptional, in the every department from the application intake to the maintenance request and everything in between. The common areas and all the events are top notch and really good for those retired and need/want something to do and someone up talk to. Choosing to live here was a really good decision.

I have been here for almost two years. I love the apartment, its so spacious and suits my needs perfectly. I will admit a year ago I was very worried with the management staff, doors broken, gate not working. But, the management we have now and the maintenance staff have worked so hard in making things right, gate now working, all doors are locked, trash rooms are so cleaned. They listen to our needs.

Ive been at VoF almost 6 months . I thoroughly enjoy living here thus far. It is a diverse and friendly community and very pet friendly . There have been a few miscommunications with office staff as they navigate post-pandemic operations and policy changes , it can get confusing . But always try and be friendly and helpful. I look forward to increased opportunities to enjoy the many amenities that they are equipped to offer, specifically adding back the computers/Wifi access in the resident center and pray that the beautiful giant screen TV system is reconnected and working for football season!! Go Cowboys ! The accommodations are lovely and well appointed in the common areas and the apartments are spacious. Me and my pup are happy to call this home .

I have been at VoF for over 2 years and have enjoyed a peaceful living situation. The community is secure and friendly. Gates and locked doors that are easy to navigate help to make you feel secure in a large, rapid growing city. Residents are friendly and respectful of their neighbors. Everything one needs is close and easy to get to. Churches, grocery stores and restaurants are within a few minutes. The grounds of the complex are well kept and the pet friendly environment is great. I came here as a new widow and between the security and acceptance of my neighbors, I have been able to start a new life and enjoy being able to continue moving forward with life. After reviewing other people's comments, I felt that I needed to say more. First, this is my review and not a fake. Management has my consent to call me to the office to discuss this with anyone interested in living here. Yes, the smoke alarm has gone off twice since I moved in and both times someone has seriously burned dinner. The hallway and community area are always clean I believe that someone comes in with notice once a year to check that things are in good repair and they change air conditioning filters Tgey also exterminate when necessary and do immediate maintenance when necessary No one has ever entered my apartment without my permission
