The BRODIE is an amazing place to live. That being said this is my second review as I noticed a simple but powerful negative one front and center I wanted to address.Please Ignore any negative reviews regarding service, maintenance, luxuries.etc They're from before the complex changed hands to a new owner, who would eventually rebrand it to The BRODIE. The BRODIE is amazing. The staff will bend over backwards for even the smallest issue. They even run community events. They actively foster the feeling of a neighborhood. Within two weeks of moving here? I knew the names of almost twenty of my fellow residents from said events. Trivia night, wine tastings, breakfast events, lunch events. The list is rather extensive. The Maintenance staff is equally engaging. While you'll mostly interact with them via a web portal. They'll have little issue looking at a problem if you catch them between calls. If it's quick they'll fix it. If not they'll add to the que themselves. Once present? Just like the office staff they go to great lengths to fix problems. Then once done, they leave detailed reports of what they did. In short, with each unit remodeled from the ground up. The Dog park expanded. The gym redone w/ free workout classes, the Pool refinished? There IS no reason to count a negative review if it was prior to the take over. It might as well been a different complex. The BRODIE is an amazing place to live. If anything I only regret not finding it sooner.

Update: since the management change has completed things are more calm and streamlined. I miss Siah but everyone else is doing a great job...

Update: since the management change has completed things are more calm and streamlined. I miss Siah but everyone else is doing a great job so far. I have seen my work orders handled promptly and efficiently. ********** This used to be a nice community. Management was on top of all concerns immediately, with resolution. The new mgmt doesn't return calls or emails. You basically have to go to the office to handle all business with them. My story: As with any multi family residence there will be issues. It's to be expected... However after almost 2 yes of living here I am counting down the days for my lease to end. I noticed a change in Sept 2016, but in the last 2 months a small herd of elephants has moved above me. I assume its elephants because of the noise and shaking of the ceiling fans and hanging items (on wall) with very step taken above me. Police have been out for noise complaints, courtesy patrol has been out for the same, I have spoken with the office staff (several times), and no resolution..... I come home from work last week and there is a renewal reminder on my door. I was offended as hell! I emailed immediately that I will NOT be renewing my lease with Roscoe properties and suggest that if you are considering moving here that you think long and hard about it before you make your decision. The office staff asked me to come down to sign off on the non renewal, I went the next day to sign and was asked would I consider staying and moving into a 3rd floor unit. It was laughable to me. Why would I need to move to the third floor? Before the herd of elephants moved in, 2 single guys lived above me, and had common courtesy enough to notify me if they were going to be keeping up more than normal noises after 10 p.m. (football, baseball, friends over) and they promised to have everyone out by a certain time (that's the neighborly thing to do). I'm grateful I'm getting out now. I have watched so many of the people, that were here when I moved in, move out for various reasons and there are so many more taking steps now and planning their exodus off of this property. This"luxury" living they advertise is no more! Deerfield, now The Brodie on your look list? know what you're getting into. Soon to be former resident. Oh yeah.... One more thing, Cole was the best employee ever. Always pleasant and on top of everything.
