The highest recorded electric use billed by Austin Energy during 2023's peak summer was less than $150 for the entire month of July while the home was rented and was occupied the entire month. Our previous homes would be $300 or more for electricity. We have the entire HVAC unit services twice a year as part of our owner provided maintenance.
