I’m going to be very truthful and honest about my review. If you are thinking of moving to this place make sure to read the terms and conditions of your lease very carefully. All communication with the management needs to be in writing because both the ladies who work at the office are not honest and have very poor management experience. I moved to this community back in july 2019 they offered me apartment 1650 which is a horrible place to live, it is super dark on a sunny day I asked to transfer to a different apartment and I got 710 since I moved there back in August 2019 I was coughing everyday. After 9 months we decided to transfer to a different apartment due to my illness and financial hardships of the epidemic since my wife and I lost our jobs and currently they are offering a cheaper apartment to anyone that is desperate enough to fill those empty units. We sent a letter to the management to explain our situation hoping they will understand and do their share of helping the people who are suffering during this pandemic. They offered me an apartment and charged me a $300 transfer fee, one month up front plus the difference of one week since we moved in april 22, and made me sign a 15 month lease. They are taking advantage of the situation to make money and they ask people to join their family community. Also I found out that they are offering a different rate to new tenants since most of their apartments are empty and a lot of tenants left. My wife and I did not have any option to move out since we both lost our jobs and we felt like we were being held hostage and we had to agree to sign a lease for 15 months. They are greedy, they don’t care about their tenants if they are going through hardships. I am thinking of writing a complaint to the Michigan attorney generals consumer protection division. Now let’s talk about the new apartment we took, carpet super dirty, fridge and stove were not clean, bathrooms and bathtub were disgusting, and we had to call the first day to fix the dryer that looks like it was 30 years old. Also a few months ago someone stole my son's bike, I called the cops and I'm still waiting to see if they can find out who stole it. Sometimes we don’t feel safe at night. Finally I just want to say if you are thinking of moving to this place do your homework first otherwise you will be sorry like we are now. Management, please don’t reply to this review and ask us to come to the office like you did last time because we both know you won’t help us.

Be careful when you move out, I rent the property for 3 years and they want to charge me $1,150 dlls claiming change in carpeting, change in kitchen counters and 1/2 bathroom counters!!! What could happened to a bathroom counter?? They did not do any maintenance to the property except for changing the A/C filters. Good community and area, not a good administration. Be careful and be really picky when you do your initial inventory checklist.
