I lived at Johnson Creek for a year and a half. My apartment was nice and and I had no intention of ever moving again. It started off being a dream come true, but it ended in being a nightmare!!!
The staff can make an otherwise safe and pleasant environment feel like you're in a war zone. Before the new office staff, was hired the others caused so much anguish to many. They worked together causing hurt, loss to many. It was as though Johnson Creek was their personal playground at the expense of older ones who were NOT living there for free. Leftovers were eaten and personal belongings were stolen by the trespassers.
Twice I observed another resident unlock the doors of and enter what I later learned, were someone else's apartments, not hers.
I thought she lived at the first apartment I witnessed her go into, but around two weeks later, however, three African American men were there moving an African American lady out! In May-June 2016, while sitting in my recliner, I observed this same Caucasian female, who walks as though one leg is shorter than the other, enter into a different apartment in the high-rise right across from my then, patio.
One Saturday while I was away, one of them entered into my apartment, and purposely left a box of chicken bones in my trash. I contacted the office. The staff member became very nervous and started talking fast and virtually gave herself away. I was puzzled because I never accused anyone. I simply asked if maintenance maybe worked that Saturday and told her what had happened.
The criminal trespassing became more frequent. Not knowing who was doing these things or why, I asked that my lock be changed. First request was because the lock wasn't changed after the last tenant moved out . The next request was because someone was coming in while I was gone..
The harassment continued until I moved out July 31, 2016. The last hateful visible acts done were July 21-23, 2016 when someone took a tube of my lipstick and wrote on the bathroom wall, "I see you.'" The next day, the person placed the lipstick on a Kleenex tissue, and left it on my bar. I didn't touch it, rather I left it there. On the 23rd, the following day, I left home around 8:30a.m. returned at approximately 7p.m. and found my lipstick in the trash. I'm guessing the person wanted to show that he could just come and go as he wanted to. And he/she was untouchable. Personal privacy, safety, and peace of mind meant nothing.
And sadly, for some of my neighbors, the lies told by the culprits were more believable than the truth.. Being helpful and respectful to some, blinded those individuals to what was really going on.
In order to appear to be doing right, they'd have to put a Good appearance and make a few feel special. That tactic has been successful in blinding the eyes of others to what's really going on there with those being victimized! Sadly, in some instances, those individuals don't even want to know. They choose to hide their heads in the sand.
And sadly management and staff got away with the oldest trick in the book..."Divide and Conquer.
Anyone who treats a handful of people well while blatantly and relentlessly tormenting and taunting others, is a despicable humanoid and has no business in a position with that kind of access to other people's lives!!!!!
Shame on those who could've and should've gotten rid of the ones causing unwarranted anxiety to those "PAYING" to live in peace.
