I have been here for six years. In the last year, it is no longer a quiet building. There is loud music, dogs barking and people yelling all the time. The new management seems to be money hunger. I have also heard some very unsettling things about what is happening.

Northgate is the first apartment my husband and I have both lived in together and we have had nothing but a great a experience here! We had been looking around for apartments to move into after our wedding and everything we looked at was either too small, too expensive, needed us to move into right away or did not have any amenities that we liked or were important to us. At Northgate we found everything we really wanted and was important to us. Large floor plan, updated appliances and decor, Onsite gym and laundry room and easy free parking! Meeting with the property manager, Admira was a great experience she was so flexible with our move in date. She stayed in contact with us after our first meeting and updated us with the renovations of any available apartments. Shes very helpful When we have questions or concerns about anything and responds right away. Over all Northgate has exceeded our expectations with apartment living, have great staff and neighbors. We really feel so lucky to have found Northgate, where they make sure you are living comfortably!

Under new ownership and it's apparent they are in the process of updating their apartments both interior and exterior. Apartments being remodeled with new flooring and kitchens. Stainless steel appliances and granite counters. Apartments I looked at was still being worked on however the progress looked good. Outside is being painted a nice gray with accepting colors. Took one photo looking out from the 3rd floor towards Sam's club and Wal-Mart both which are within walking distance.

I love Northgate/Addison apartments, I couldn't be more happier and lucky to have found this place. The management staff is very professional and takes the time to listen and respond to every concern, no matter how small. I appreciate the fact that the management makes every effort to make this apartment living as pleasurable as possible for their tenants. The renovations to the building and units are gorgeous. The laundry room is awesome. Parking lot and security features are outstanding. The tenants are so nice and everyone is so respectful. I recommend Northgate/Addison apartments to everyone I know! I've been searching so long to find a decent apartment that fit all my criteria, and this place has it all and then some!!! My apartment is beautiful and spacious, I couldn't ask for anything more.

Only pros are the spacious living space and location. 70s decor. Parking lot floods a lot. I had wasps every year in the wooden balcony divider. My roof first started leaking in the kitchen the week of Thanksgiving!!! Eventually I had 2 holes in my kitchen ceiling and 1 dining room. This went one for 6 months and still wasn't fixed the day i moved out. They had roofers out a few times and they said they fixed it. Once it rained the ceiling would start leaking again. One day I stopped in the leasing office, sick with bronchitis, to get an update on repairs and the leasing guy Ted started yelling at me like it was my fault. I told them my boots were soaked and he said they're winter boots and were made to get wet. It was dirty rain water that went through the roof into my apt. He never apologized for the inconvenience nor offered me any compensation. I never got a lease renewal as i usually did. So i applied at another apartment and they called Northgate the next day to verify I lived there. Next day I was emailed my lease renewal with no increase in rent. I decided not to renew my lease because I was absolutely insulted by the way Ted handled this situation. So I did the math and figured out how much living area I couldn't use. I sent them the info and requested a discount on rent. I didn't get all that I asked for but I got half off my last month's rent.
The icing on the cake was the day i was moving out, which was 1 day before my lease was actually up, they entered my apt and removed the balcony screens...then when I went back there to clean the roofers were there fixing the roof! Not worth the hassle to live here.
