Things here moved pretty slowly at first. Now theyre right on it. We had a couple of maintenance issues and both times they were attended to very expeditiously. The staff here are as professional as they are welcoming, we also have excellent neighbors. The child park and dog park are in close proximity, just dont get them mixed up. I did and let me tell ya, they frown on leaving your dog in the swing while you walk your kid. Something about leash laws applying to dogs and not toddlers, Im still perplexed by this. There are a few other places where they have doo doo bags about the property. The only drawback Ive encountered, is parking. No garage means apartment style parking lot. We like it here and this has been a great choice for us. That heated pool is calling out, gotta go.

I have lived here about a year and have loved it. Only complaint is that the playground is always trashed. I typically spend 10 minutes picking up trash and placing it in the trash cans. This is a two fold issue. Lazy messy ass neighbors who don't put their trash where it belongs and management who don't send people out to make sure the ground are clean. Had new management take over a few months back and have had little to no interaction with them so I can't speak on how they are, but, previous group was not terrible. Decent neighbors around my unit. And I only had one bad experience of having my car stereo faceplate taken from my car (I left my doors unlocked). All in all outs a nice place to live. Going to sign a new lease come the end of my lease in April.

So let me start by saying that I lived in these apartments under two different management groups. For the sake of honesty and fairness, I will speak on both and maybe you will see why I gave the property 5 stars. The team that headed management for this location was WillMax and they stink to high heaven! I paid my rent, was a good tenant and somehow I was evicted without ever even being told. So I was still living in the apartment, paying rent but was "evicted". This was irresponsible on WillMax's part and they have not returned any of my calls and thus I will likely have to hire a lawyer to get this straightened out. They were sloppy, and disorganized and unprofessional at best, and I would never again stay in a property managed by this company. I rated them on Google. Now on to the reason for the five star rating. I give it such a high rating based on several factors. First, the new management team- They came in and worked supremely hard to right so many of the wrongs that had occurred in this location prior to their taking over. The team is professional and work well together. They also made a smart move by retaining the Maintenance supervisor, Travis Erickson. Travis has been there a long time and he does excellent work. He is prompt and courteous and works hard to get things fixed in record timing. He is friendly, approachable and just a really cool dude. He exceeds what would be expected of any person in his position and I miss him dearly! Gemma, the new manager is pretty awesome!! She was very helpful when I moved from the property into my new home. She apologized that the previous team had not offered me a renewal quote and she just handled my situation with class. The living space is great for the money, the apartment homes are much larger than most and the basement storage is awesome! The layout of my place was sensible and spacious, updated very well for a older property and energy efficient. The landscape was really nice, they worked hard to keep everything in order, trimmed bushes and trees, dog poop pick up service (even though it is NOT their responsibility to clean after our pets), and a really nice playground and dog park (mostly open space). The place was over the top animal friendly, but the deposits for pets was fair. There is also an large pool that is most times heated and open year around. The parking is kinda tough as it isn't assigned, but I did not usually have trouble parking near my own apartment. The neighbors were awesome, many having been in residence for 10+ years and just good people. At holidays, the tenants were festive and friendly, no issues with crazy or criminal behavior. The community outreach team was often times out early in the morning to offer cookies, burritos, etc and were great morale boosters. The complex is close to all kinds of shopping and right near highway 36. It is a stellar location. All in all, I enjoyed living in Sunset Ridge, more so after the new team took over, but in general it was a very good place to live. They were helpful even though I had tough credit issues after my divorce and I exited without any problems with a reasonable cleaning of the place. I would recommend it. Great value for your dollar.

This is a review of a positive nature. This review speaks volume of what my family has had the pleasure of experiencing while living at Sunset Ridge Apartment Homes for the last few months. I cannot speak for everyone, but I do want to express loud and clear that I am exceedingly pleased thus far to have chosen Sunset Ridge Apartment Homes as a place I now consider home. The staff are amazing, they are extremely kind, very professional and knowledgeable. I have had the pleasure of communicating with the Jenna, the Property Manager, and Travis. The Maintenance Supervisor of which both are exceptional and irreplaceable individuals in my book and an asset to Sunset Ridge Apartment Homes, going over and beyond their normal call of duty. I have always believed that Staff members are an extended representation of the management company they work under, so this is saying a lot. This place is really cool. The new management company and the maintenance guys are on it. They made me feel like part of a community rather then just a unit number. The way they handle stuff is very professional and full of grace. I was thinking about moving but now Im staying. Thanks so much for all you have done for me

I love my new apartment and the new management! Jenna made my move in to my apartment very smooth and she is a sweet heart. I had a problem with the garbage disposal and I was given the day it should be fixed and I very much appreciate that. The space is also great, having three open levels. So far, I love this place!

I'm not big on posting reviews but I need to let people know about the new management staff we have. They are very attentive, pleasant to talk to, and when you ask them questions they just dont stare at you like your an alien or something they actually care and take time to address your concerns, mantiance issues, and they are also starting to clean the grounds. For those of you that live here or plan to live here these home are great inside and out talk to our new management and come join our community I really think you will enjoy it.

We have been living here for about 5 years now and have been through multipul management and matinance staff. Lately hasent been to great,until now we have a new sheriff in town rosco management so far have had my husband and I floored we get calls for our mantaince experance, we always get a smile and a hello when we walk we have seen management walk around they are even starting to clean the place up. For allwho are uensure of this new management company. Lets stick together and help them turn out home around. We no longer fear to having to move. I have also been on another one of there properties and it is very well kept and clean. I have to say I believe in them.

I really love my apartment. It is more like a townhome, which is why we chose to live here. The bedrooms are upstairs, living/ kitchen, 1/2 bath on the main floor, and there is a bonus basement!! The new management seems like they really care and we are welcoming the new changes!

I had previously given this complex a one start rating due to some communication issues with the management in regards to a past due balance. Since then Alyson, the manager has contacted me and gone out of her way to work with me in order to remedy the situation and I appreciate the customer service that was provided to me today. I am keeping my review at a 3 stars because I do feel that the apartments are a little on the pricey side, and the cost for utilities is very high, they calculate utilities by measuring the usage of the building and then dividing it amongst the units...this can cause you to pay for way more than you are actually using. If you are moving here I would suggest you budget for an additional $200+ for water each month.

Moved in with no issues. Management is extremely nice and helpful. Any time I have a maintenance issue someone is quickly over. The town homes are spacious and kept up. There are a lot of kids in the neighbor hood. The community is always kept clean. I'm new to the area and there is plenty of stores near by. I've lived here for now 2 months. No complaints.

I don't usually write reviews but I recently lost my phone so I needed the office number and came across the reviews. I've lived here for about 4 years now and I'm a little surprised to see some of these. I love my town home, I have plenty of storage space in my basement and I have a large laundry room area down there too. The maintenance guys are super nice and the office staff has always been helpful. Yes you might hear someone behind you or next to you but unless you have a house it's definitely expected. I saw someone posted pictures of the dumpster, I mean of course it's upsetting. It doesn't happen often but when it does I don't think management is happy about it since they have to clean it up. I can imagine it's just as frustrating for them. But just like with anything, some people follow the rules and others don't. You have those bad apples everywhere, in every neighborhood and every complex. It's unavoidable unless you buy a house and even then you may not love all of your neighbors. That's just life.... Anyway, if you are looking for a place, take a look and decide for your self. If you've rented before I'm sure you'll agree with me that no complex is perfect but if your comfortable with the apartment and the location, it does make all the difference. Just my opinion!!!

When we first moved my father in law in the hot water heater was broken. That was middle of October since than they have came 4 times to "fix" the water heater and it's a broken. The last time they said they were going to put a new one in and they didn't! They just rigged the old one again and here we are two weeks later and it's not working AGAIN! FOR 1640 FOR A TWO BEDROOM you would think the hot water heater would at least work! Also the modle home they show you is very nice the actual apartments are not! I'm less than pleased with this place.
