Almost any size furniture could fit this space including a large sectional couch. A great space to entertain.
Waking down the hallway there are two bedrooms on opposite sides. One of the bedrooms has a charming architectural bump out with three double hung windows and a large closet. This would be considered the master.
The other bedroom is across the hallway with hardwood floors and an attractive light fixture. The last bedroom is in the rear of the house. There is a good separation of bedrooms which makes it ideal for roommates and privacy. This apartment also seems to stretch and go on forever and this is all conveniently on one floor.
This luxury bathroom has a granite vanity, recessed lights, floor to ceiling tile walls with mosaic ascents, and high-end plumbing fixtures. Here you will find a rain forest shower head and body wash function. It’s a stunning and bright bathroom that you don’t typically see in a multi-family house.
The kitchen is the biggest surprise of the apartment. It’s huge! and there is plenty of space for a table or island. There is no shortage of cabinet or counter space. This L-shaped kitchen has newer stainless-steel appliances and endless cabinets that wrap around two walls. There is a lot of natural light from the three windows that line up nicely with the undermounted sink. The popular subway tile backsplash really makes the cherry cabinets stand out and the St. Celia granite ties everything together.
A nice bonus are the stackable high-efficient washer and dryer that are off the kitchen but still in the apartment. These front load machines will stay with the apartment.
Lastly, this is a back porch that is exclusive to this apartment. It could be a nice spot to store some items like a bike to ride through town or bonus square feet for a reading nook.
The benefit of this apartment is that you are on the second floor that adds to the amount of natural light and affordable utilities.
In general, renting a multi-family feels like you are renting or sharing a single-family house. It’s much more private, charming, and unique experience than an apartment building or condo complex.
This house is in the heart of park road entertainment and food district. You are walking distance to multiple bars and restaurants and the Park Road Playhouse. Public transportation is less than a block away on Park Road. There are endless places to walk including the open fields and courts of Whiting Lane elementary school. You are also only 3 miles from West Hartford Center and Blue Back Square and all the entertainment and high-end dining options there. It is an easy commute or public transportation to Hartford.
The apartment comes with a garage and electric opener and an additional parking spot or two in tandem with the garage. Installed are new natural gas boilers and water heaters making bills reasonable here.
Another opportunity here is to rent the lower level which is designed to be an office or bonus space and does include a full bathroom. It would make a nice addition to the apartment for more space or an extra bedroom or an office. The popular trend of working from home inspired us to create additional space in the lower level that is also new and obviously extremely convenient out your back door. This creates an easy separation of work and living space.
