When considering moving to Spanish Mission Apartments please keep in mind this is a older buildings and it is an apartment complex you will be able to hear your neighbors on occasion so if you want somewhere were its going to be dead quiet all the time dont rent an apartment maintenance does their best to get everything done there are two maintenance people are quite a few apartments they have been working diligently to get things up to date and cleaned up and straightened up we are now under new management again so we will see how this goes

Sorry for the long post, but good info is here! NEVER RENT WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!! I wish I could leave 0 stars. The staff was rude and refused to communicate with tenants. They did not provide notice to enter and I thought we were being robbed. It created a very dangerous situation for both myself and the maintenance worker because I was prepared to use deadly force to defend myself. They refused to allow us to fly the American flag in our apartment and fined us for doing so. They refuse to communicate to the management company our concerns, and frankly made up items that were not in the lease. I considered taking legal action but could not afford it. The apartments themselves are horribly inefficient and are extremely costly utility wise, and management's favorite way to "fix" leaks, shorts, and other issues it to paint over holes and replace light fixtures. As a final note, the management rewards tenets with gift cards and other bribes for leaving 5 star reviews on apartment websites, so don't believe anything with a 5 star review. I'm so happy to move to a new base, and not have to deal with this horrible complex anymore. If you needed anymore convincing, most mail will not fit in the mailboxes, so it is left at the front office (which is closed more often than it's open) and you won't know that your mail is there unless you ask the staff everyday. They will be very rude about it and then tell you that they will call you if they get you mail which has never happened. The only communication I received from the management was fines (for the flag) and notices saying they were doing random apartment inspections sometime that week (yes, the notices were that vague.)
Don't go there If you can find other apartment.

My husband and I have lived here for over a year and we love it. When we were getting ready to move from Marietta Ga to Valdosta, they were the ONLY place that was reasonable and would work with us via emails and phone. The staff is great and always friendly, smiling and always waves as we drive past them on our way to work. A wonderful and quiet complex. We have a 2 bdrm/2bth apartment at a great rate.
Carpet is trash and they do not follow policy as well as overpriced. Called multiple times to complain but they put me off. Not a good place to move
Apartments are ok. But office staff can have attitudes and dont seem very friendly until after they get your money. Maintenance is great.

This was a horrible place to live. Management was rude. Our house was enetered within notice because manager states she forgot to write a letter. We were lied to and told we had to pay for broken blinds through them which was over 25 dollars for one set and our lease stated we could buy from anywhere. Just overall a bad experience do not recommend to anyone

New management that cares about the residents needs and homes. The true meaning of "top rate in customer service" as it was many years ago when it meant something to give good old fashion quality customer service to people of all walks of life!! That's extremely hard to find these days, however you will find it here at Spanish Missions Apartments.
The maintenance team is Outstanding too!!

Lived here a year and it went under 3 management changes and several staff. It's very expensive on power and I just recently was charged 550 for them to clean a place I had kept clean as if it was my own. They had to throw away one of my sofas because my grandmother who is 70 could not help me lift it, this was put on the charge as well. And I think we were charged for the three stove eyes that hadn't worked since we moved in as well as the leaking tub that needed hourly cleaning to look spotless constantly due to the fact it was leaky since we moved in. Currently living in a community that constantly has fights and the police are always around on the weekends because I couldn't get a cheaper appartment here, now juggling student loans, rent, power, and this debt that I honestly can't afford.

I have lived here for 3 years. Recently they have gone through a change in management and it is absolutely horrible. The old management was pleasant and always communicated with the residents. The new management is rude and inconsiderate. About a month ago they wouldn't process my rent because they lost my renter's insurance and tried to blame it on me. After I sent them a new copy last month they recently emailed me and told me they didn't have a new copy of it on file! I can't wait to move out of this place and go somewhere that cares about their residents. It may have cheaper rent but it's really not worth the hassle now.

Management is absolutely horrible. I worked through a temp agency and they only allowed me to work for two days. I was supposed to be working today and tomorrow but they decided to call someone in who they had already decided not to hire! When I expressed interest in making the position of was in, permanent, the lady from Columbus, Amanda, said "well I don't know about that!" This was just an overall horrible experience. I would never live here because of the way she carries herself.
