We have really enjoyed living here. It's very affordable for the quality of construction, appliances, and the amenities offered. Location is very convenient with several freeways being close and a light rail stop half a block away. The staff is friendly and attentive, repairs & maintenance are completed quickly and management is good about communicating with residents. Two things: the bedrooms have sliding doors (we would prefer hinged with a lock), and the elevator closest to our unit goes out of order frequently. But for the most part The Lyric has been a wonderful home!

We have been here for almost 2 1/2 years and we love it here! The management staff is amazing! They treat residents with respect and work to get to know everyone. The maintenance team is awesome! They handle repairs quickly and are always working to keep our building in good condition! A goal here is to build a community. The Lyrics hosts Happy Hours throughout the year as a means to get neighbors to know each other. I love that we have a fitness room on site and heated underground parking. Our building is clean, pet friendly and close to the light rail and freeway access.

It is a good apartment and well run/managed. I like that the whole building is completely secured and so only tenants (with electronic fob keys) can access the building and underground parking lot. I think the overall size of the complex/number of units is good and so it ensures that the elevators run smoothly and thus wait times are pretty good. The maintenance is also phenomenal, fast and friendly group. The in-unit amenities are good, the building is relatively new (built 2010 I believe) and has decent quality fixtures and a nice aesthetic layout. I highly recommend this apartment complex. I have been living here for a few years now.

I moved to the Lyric just a few months ago after visiting a friend who lives in the building multiple times over the past few years. Now that I'm a resident, I totally understand why she has lived here for over 6 years! The building amenities are amazing. We love the rooftop patio with grills and hot tub, sauna, fitness center, and multiple common areas for visiting or hosting. I appreciate having an in-unit washer and dryer and huge, sunny windows along one wall of my apartment that overlooks the courtyard in back. We have never had an issue with hearing our neighbors in a way that is disruptive (we do occasionally hear them walking above us and flushing toilets but it's not a big deal) and we don't hear any traffic or outside noise from our apartment. I am grateful for the underground parking and I know that amenity will be invaluable during the winter months. The staff is friendly and responsive to requests and after spending the entire summer researching apartments in the cities, I can honestly say the Lyric has by far the best value for the price of rent. I am really glad I live here.

I am really happy living at the Lyric. The apartments have a great design so that the space and storage are used very efficiently. It is also pretty sound-proofed and I can never hear my neighbors next to me. I also love all the natural light we get from the nice windows. The gym and rooftop amenities are all very nice. One of the biggest reasons I chose to live at the Lyric is because it literally right next to the Raymond Ave light rail stop, which makes it easy for me to get to Super Target to buy groceries and also to go to the U of M campus. It is also so dog friendly. There are little trash bins and poop bags all around the building. Having a lot of dog owners also helps to get to know your neighbors! I have no complaints about living here. It seems pricey, but you get a lot for your money. The staff here is incredible friendly and anytime I have a question, I get an answer right away.

Plenty of parking on the street for guests and the heated underground parking is great. Right on the Green line and the party room is a great place to hold large gatherings.

The apartment is well designed, well appointed, and comfortable. It is very quiet...I rarely hear anything from my neighbors. The building is clean and very well maintained. Any maintenance issues are promptly taken care of. You don't even have to buy a light bulb! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location in the center of the city, right off the Green Line, and close to the freeways, makes it ideal for getting anywhere. I like the industrial feel to the neighborhood.

We love living here. Staff is friendly, helpful, and responsive when needed. They have no tolerance for breaking rules and safety is of utmost priority. Maintenance issues are normal ones and they are taken care of quickly. Only complaint would be that sometimes dog owners are not considerate about picking up after their animals outside. Many types of people live here with many different backgrounds and ages. Though there seem to be some college students, there are also older people (30's-50's) who make this their home. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a home and can be respectful.

I was extremely disappointed when I lived there. You will lose all your deposit just because your carpet is kind of damaged. The office works only a few hours per day and actually provides no service. You have to spend $225 to get new keys if you lose them. Moreover, for packages you ordered online, you have to check three places( door, office, and mailbox) to determine where they are shipped to. You would receive complaints every week just because you play music in your own room. If you have a strong mind, Lyric is the best choice. By the way, parking spot is really small and it took me several minutes each time I parked my car in the garage.

The apartments are beautiful - I completely disagree with past reviewers that were disappointed with construction. We've had very few maintenance requests and all (even very minor ones) have been completed within 24 hours. The staff is friendly and helpful. The leasing office went out of their way to help us out with a request to transfer to a different unit, and even made it happen before our lease was up. Very pleased to be living here.

Not only a beautiful building with beautiful units, but the maintenance staff is incredible. Whenever I have an issue like a clogged drain. The maintenance staff is on it right away and has it done by the time I get home from work. Management also throws parties for the tenants that are a lot of fun and a great way to get to know our neighbors. The pool table and hot tub on the roof are real plus's as well.
